nick turner I was born in Lebanon in the late 90s but grew up in GP in the south of Oregon and have visited every couple years. It’s in a sorry state. A lot of business is going away, a lot of downtown is thrift stores. I’ve always considered Linn County to be my home but it’s not well off.
This is my home town, I currently live in Japan and wasn't alive for this time but still I know these landmarks. It makes me so home sick. The Strawberry parade was a big part of my growing up, my sister was even Strawberry Queen her senior year.
Oh wow, its always great too see what lebanon looked like "way back in the day", Now i don't mean disrespect by calling anybody old here. I am only 33, i just find it fascinating that's all. Always like talking to people who lived here and hear about what lebanon was like :)
The women in the rose garden at the end may be Agnes Moersch and Eva Stewart. If anyone recognizes them I would appreciate hearing from them; please message me via youtube. Thanks! tsmatlock
I love it Juli, life was so easy and fun back in the day.....I have some old video my grandpa took of my dad and all of us. Cigs in the sleeve, old cars. .......
Twenty-five years before I moved to Lebanon, but some things had not changed. Thanks.
Beautiful! I wish it was still that way!
What's the over all quality of life like now?
