Always use vag authorized coolant. It is some oil based, which is required by vag water body. If you use ant other coolant, water body gets corroded early.

Brother, if it keeps happening and u are unable to find the leakage , get ur heater coil checked , it's beneath ur infotainment system and u might need to open dashboard for same. Vw and skoda's are prone to this issue and they even have a container below to store the coolant leak when this happens so electronics don't get spoiled. If nothing seems leaking then this is where collant is going! ❤

The coolant is getting mixed up with the engine oil. The water pump has broken and allowing coolant to go in side the engine oil. Rectify soon before it could turn into a big one.
Volkswagen group cars use glycol based coolants which is pink in colour. Hyundai and maruti use amine based coolants which is green or blue in colour. It is also acidic in nature. So using these in VAG cars will lead to corroding of coolant lines pumps and eventually damage to engine. Flush the whole system and put the appropriate coolant

do not use Green coolent in VW skoda cars, as they use G13 coolant only and using green coolant for longer time would cause rising in to the coolant lines in the engine block as the VW engine block material reacts with green coolant (that's why they gave pink G13 coolant) most people don't care about the coolant color, (they think all coolants are same). Please keep G13 coolant in VW group cars @brotomotive

This coolant leak is very common with your engine. Same happened with my superb. Reason is because the water pump in these engines are plastic. Would suggest you to replace with a metal water pump. However the dealer replaced ours with OEM plastic pump under goodwill warranty and it has been running fine for 3 years now.
Hello there, as pls be very particular to service and follow the rules of maitainance as per schedule and use genuine parts as 1.8 TSi is so notorious, so needs to take care of.

It may be water pump or Oil cooler ….. Get it checked
Water pump is leaking and leak is small so it won’t be seen on floor it evaporates due to engine temperature.

He used a wrong grade coolant (Green) which is not suitable with this engine internals.. get it replaced asap with recommended grade.
Also check the head gasket
