This is the best and most successful non-foundation chain method for me! Row 2 of bow is ALSO a fantastic manner of a more finished looking 1st row! Thank you thank you!
Hi Sharon, Sorry for the late response! It's been crazy these last few weeks! YAY! So glad you liked this! You are very welcome! Thank you for watching!
@@yvonnemetz1 Now MY granddaughter is ~ 7 mo, and I’m making another one for her and two more girl babies on their way this summer! I have made a variety of headbands but w/o THIS ☝️ type of beginning row they all have a slightly tighter edge - I’ll admit the tighter row can help keep head band under a babies ears but they don’t fit for very long! Thanks 🙏🏼 again 🤗
I am new to your channel and I just love those bows. They are fast and easy so I can make several for my new great-great niece coming in February. Thank U. Can't wait to see more things.
Sorry to not have responded sooner. Busy with work. For this project we are working in the round so we are joining with right sides together. You are welcome for the pattern! Thank you for watching.
So beautiful I crochet with you on this video and my project was so nice, made one for my friend's baby girl. Thank you. Do u have video on baby sock or bootie
Thank you! Not sure on exact measurement but you can google "Crochet Chart for Head Measurements" and a TON will Pop up with average sizes. I don't have mine with me at the moment. Thank you for watching!
Hi there, ch 36 and in 2nd ch from hook start your sc, you should end up with 35 sc. You don't count the skipped ch at the beginning. Hope this helps, thanks for watching.
I've never been able to crochet anything other than flat scarves and baby blankets lmao, I love this! I'm just finishing my headband but I'm not understanding how to knot it (like 6:40ish) without just pulling the yarn undone. any advice?
Hi there sorry for the late response been a crazy last few months here. But wanted to respond. Thinking you might have figured it out already. If not let me know. I'm glad you love this! Thanks for watching & Happy Holidays!

CraftSea Creations and thank you for showing that back bump starting as well I really like those coz it give a nice looking bottom. that’s what i do now on my every start i make so later on i won’t clean up. :)
Hi Cristina, Sorry for the late response! It's been crazy these last few weeks! That would really depend on the babies head. Measure it and then chain about 1 1/2 less, the headband will stretch. Hope this helps & Thanks for watching!
Hi there - I honestly don't know how BUT it doesn't matter because I cover the seam with the Bow so you won't see it. Enjoy and Thank you for watching.
Hi Ruby, Yes 0-3 months. I used a basic chart, not all head sizes are the same though. Enjoy. This pattern is easy to adjust as well. Thank you for watching!
Hey there. You just need to make your chain the length you need. If head size is 16" stop chaining at about 14 1/2 - this will stretch. This pattern is just by measurements. You might get a different count then I did as I crochet tight. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Zakia Paschal thank you for the comment! You would need to measure the head an average head size is between 18-21 inches. It will stretch so you’d want to do 1 1/2’ smaller. Hope that helps & thanks for watching!
Hi Alexandra, sorry for the late response - This past month has been busy for me. You would chain 2" less then what you would need. Example if head measures 16" chain til you get to about 14 or 14 1/2" (it should stretch to 16") depending on yarn used. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Hi Cindy, I don't have the measurement chart in front of me right now, but you can search for Head measurements and you can use the average. When I get home this evening if you haven't found it I'll post what I have for it. Thank you so much and glad you love my videos! Thank you for watching!
Can’t wait to start making these in every color for my daughter. They came out so pretty.
YAY! So awesome! They are super easy for sure. Plus super cute on! Thank you for watching.

How to make this for 10 years old girl??
Hi there! Just measure the head and make the chain about an Inch and a half smaller. This will stretch. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
