I myself went to Pesega as a kid... I still remember it like it was yesterday... I hope they've stepped up the education in Samoa as they were so far behind when I went there in the 90s
get a life man. leave her alone. Tapa trying to show more of it for you! Thanks so much for the comments. Helps us show people what they’re hoping to see. Where would you like to see? Do you have a favorite site?

Aww poor Zara hope things will get easier for u at school, hope they have a translator at least to help u, pray u enjoy ur time in Samoa Zara, stay blessed family
Thanks Dan, that's sweet. It has gotten much better at school and I made a few friends that knew how to translate bits and pieces that I was able to connect. I've actually gotten better at guessing conversations from those friends help!! I hope to learn Samoan soon, any languages that you had a hard time learning, in high school maybe??? Hope you keep enjoying our videos, thank you for the support!!! ~Zara
Thank you for sharing your family adventure wit all of us. I, myself is a proud graduate of Pesega High School formerly known as CCWS and went to Pesega Lima. Pesega is a great school
Yasss Zara repping the gold & blue hope you’ll make more friends in school😘😘😘 enjoy your time I know you’ll liked there from a former student of CCWS🧡💙
@@JAMilyTV Probably 5 years back. My mums currently in Upolu with her brothers building a house on our land so we can at least have some ties to our culture and where we come from. Love the vlogs, keep em coming.
Oh good for them!! Very smart idea to do that. Things are changing fast in Samoa! When is your next visit then? Seems like you’re about due for another visit! ❤️❤️❤️
I commented subscribe and enjoyed seeing ya’ll getting on with the Samoan stuff, kalofa e is Zara, I hope she ends up with a good experience in Pesega, I think Pesega follows the American English instead of British English. Good luck, be safe Love you guys especially your Mom.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow views are absoloutely EPIC👌🙌 i have nieces and nephews at pesega and other schools in apia also good luck with ur schooling and ur first two days of school but dont worry and you will be speaking samoan in no time😉 congrats fam on making it stay blessed
Oh man your vlogs are making me homesick 😔😔 its so refreshing to see Vloggers from Samoa. Not sure if you explained it in a previous episode but why did you guys decide to move to Samoa from Texas? Thats a massive leap of faith! Following your journey, have an amazing time settling in to beautiful Samoa!
Chris T Tuia thanks for subscribing! When were you in Samoa last? I lived in Pago until i was 5, but lost my Samoan when we moved to the States. So we wanted to come back to Samoa to relearn the language and help our daughters learn the language and culture as well. Just to give them a solid foundation for what it means to be Samoan and help them reconnect to their roots. Hopefully it’s a lasting experience for them for the rest of their lives that they’ll be able to help instill into their own children someday.
Benito Evans doing a little contract work for a company back home. But working on building some business here in Samoa through our work on RUclips. It’s been fun! Where are you watching from?
I moved to Samoa from Australia back in 2009, and hands down my best schooling years were at LDS CCP! My first thought of the uniform was the same (ugly) and colour choice didn’t help aswel 😂 the cultural and environment shock is real but wouldn’t change for my experience for the world! Your daughter will love it! Seeing that you are members, have you visited the other Mormon village called Sauniatu ? It’s a must do! Im from there. It’s beautiful, sacred and rich in church history!
+Rubina Tauasa, thanks for the comment!! So are you still in Samoa then? Or did you move back to Oz? Zara is loving it here and Samoa and Pesega have welcomed her so kindly!! We went to Sauniatu in 2013 when we came to visit for the first time. We haven’t made it back yet. But it is certainly on our list! The waterfall there was simply amazing!! (That’s the place, right?)
I graduated from Pesega as well Class of 2000 when it was CCWS. Glad your family is loving Samoa. One day I plan to bring my family back home as well, so my son can experience the life I was brought up with.
Hi there, Wow.... It's quite a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious experience I got just by mere watching your videos... And I think I will be visiting samoa next month, but I need a family to hang out with, so I wouldn't have to be bored during my period of vacation... 🤪 Any help you could proffer please?
I was born in samoa but didn't even like samoan class because its so complicated its hard to chew lol. Its not as easy as the spoken samoan. I was a science student in College.
Did you learn Samoan though? I knew it as my first language and lost it when we moved to the States. Unfortunately. Or fortunately. I guess that’s the main reason we’re here and it’s been a massive blessing to be here!
I ran an internet precious metals bullion company in the States. I now do some contract work for them. But Samoa is ripe with opportunity for anyone willing to work and make a go of it. When was the last time you were here?
I see. We were there in Aug -Sept 2018. Just before you all arrived. We had a family reunion that time. The previous two times we were there for Xmas/N.Y.
Joel I Wily awesome!! When are you coming? How long are you staying? Why are you moving here? I’ve heard Melbourne is glorious! Have any kids? How old? We’d love to try to help in any way we can. We love it here! Hope you have a great experience as well.

Slowly but surely, we are getting used to all of that, haha! The money is super cool!! We don't have nice colorful money in the States. The heat is pretty crazy, but not the worst ever. I guess we're coming up on the rainy season though, huh? And we're hoping to learn the language as soon as we can. We're working on it though! =)
Cheap but not really "fast food" You just need to know what to order or wing it. Theres no obvious menu that you could look at. Basically they cook the standard Samoan food one would eat. Rice,Taro,Chicken,Sausages, Chop Suey etc etc. The price is very good. Even for locals its a bit more affordable. I think we paid about 5 tala?
You’re right. It is an underdeveloped nation. But not like you would think. Education is a priority if you make it a priority. And the private schools are using curriculum from New Zealand and Zara actually skipped from the end of 8th grade in the States to the equivalent of the middle of 10th grade here. So she’ll graduate when she’s 16. But we are going to have her do some online high school courses from BYU so she gets enough credits to be able to qualify for US universities. And for the younger girls, we’re not too concerned. They’re learning and we supplement their education so they’ll be solid if/when we head back. 🤙 When was the last time you got to visit Samoa?
original_turnip _ that’s awesome! Let us know when you’re back on island! Until then, we’ll keep shooting and sharing. :) I left Pago when i was five and spent 30 years away before i came back to visit for the first time. And then stayed for two weeks vacation.
