- The 2017 KTM Duke 250 is the naked streetfighter that slots right in between its elder and the younger sibling. It gets a bigger, 13.5 litre fuel tank, USD forks and the slipper clutch like the Duke 390 but the brake system as on the Duke 200, which means it does miss out on the ABS. So, how does it fare as an everyday small little big bike? That's exactly what Atul shall find out today.

The climax was superb ;). Already owning this beauty and completed the first service. Last week took the bike for a long ride, the bike was extremely silent while cruising in 6th gear and refined. Enjoyed a lot. The bike was the attraction point for so many riders while having my trip. One word to say means I am enjoying my Duke 250.

Got this Orange! on 13th March. Have 3800 on the ODO... Using it for office commuting.. took it for couple of highway runs as well.. performs well in city road and highways. loving every moment with it. vll b participating in Mumbai orange ride today.

The mix of information entertainment combined with the level of video quality well if Im mentioning then video quality lets have a long convo then your camra guy he is 100%gold the editor knows well what he is doing pules your host well shargent is always the guy but his knights are worth watching each time.....well this can go on and on

i find the 250 better than the 390... the headlights... and maybe if the instrument cluster was more smaller like in the mt07, it would look very good

We shall try about that comparo. About the touring bikes, there's no updated yet about the launch of the Fazer 250, so you can wait, but if you are planning to buy the bike soon, you can go with the Mojo.

What happened with the cops?
They saw me riding an unregistered vehicle and hence I was stopped. Had a friendly chat after we showed them the right paperwork and they too were intrigued by the Duke250
Don't new vehicles have a TR (Temporary Registration) number on a yellow sticker? I think that's mandatory until you get it registered with the RTO. Please use that next time.
Atul Haldankar Ha ha recently two guys in chennai driving ninja 300 and ktm were stopped by cops. They were wearing riding gears and by looking that cops thought they were racing, so stopped them and took the keys. Those riders were struggling for a couple of hours to explain. I thought you too were facing the same problem😀😀

That's the real-time fuel consumption. We got a combined fuel economy of 30 kmpl.
To be very honest. Like button is just not enough. Power Drift deserves Awesome buttons.

I've got the White Variant and i did a long ride for about 400 KMS.To be honest it was an amazing ride and i was cruising between 90-100 kms/hr. I'm well satisfied with the bike and the braking system.

I'm a Motor Head and so is my 5 year old Son. We own a Duke 250. Well the bike is great : performance-wise. Although it has an array of great features here are my 2 cents that could make it better. Firstly, I recommend everyone who buys the Son of the Beast to change the Tyres. The MRF's (Stock Tyres) are Horrible (I could use some big-time French words here instead, but then you'll have to Pardon My French). Instead of going with the High-End-Soft-Sticky Tyres you can upgrade to Michelin Pilot Street Radial. It makes a hell of a difference ! Secondly, this Little Beast needs ABSsssss...... ! It can squirt out uncontrollable power, but with Great Power should come Great Responsibility (ABS) ! Cheers !

With no visible competition for the Duke 250..as both fZ 25 and rtr 200 being under powered...this duke definitely has an edge in the market both for its aggressive looks and peak performance...but I think in touring perspective dominar is really a Stern competition for this 250... As usual it's a visual treat to watch your reviews..and your non conventional reviewing methods really steal the show...go PD...loved it
