You guys are so selfish calling Floyd "boring". Who cares? He's a technical boxer, he doesn't get hit. That's the name of the game! To hit, and not get hit. Boxing is dangerous. It's not fair of you to ask a fighter to potentially lose their own health for your own entertainment. Because all you want to see is someone getting hit. Hate on Floyd all you want, don't have to like him, but he's undefeated, he has his health, oh, and he made over 700m in the process.

Believe it or not Colin if you start paying attention boxing is getting good again. Look up WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, he is 37 and 0 with 36 knockouts. In the welterweight division we have a huge fight on CBS between Keith "One Time" Thurman and Danny "Swift" Garcia. Boxing just doesn't get the coverage, but start paying attention.

first off you have pretty boy Floyd mayweather if u watched Floyd early Floyd was a Savage beast. Floyd admitted his body was breaking down so he had to fight that more defensive style. but what colin said about strategy was on point. Colin is talking from financial standpoint. No one else can generate more pay per views than Conor McGregor besides Mayweather himself. If you put Golovkin, for instance, to match up with Mayweather, it wouldn't generate as much PPVs. And all these other fighters you mentioned have more potential in beating Mayweather than McGregor. As you may or may not know, Mayweather cherry picks his opponents etc etc.

This segment let's me know that Colin knows absolutely nothing about Mayweather's career or boxing for that matter. There are atleast 4 100 million dollar fights with 1 million ppv buys for Floyd to take. and how do u think he became the 500 milion dollar man? It couldnt have been bc hes so boring. There are definitely guys for Floyd to fight in the boxing world...that could potentially beat him eventhough i would never bet against him. However, where i do agree is that the financial draw wont be there for any other fighter besides McGegor. And thats the easiest fight for him to take and the most money so no risk, all reward.

UFC has McGregor as a big name and Rousey. Rousey is done and McGregor wants to box because he's tired of getting pimped at UFC. Mayweather and McGregor are the biggest names in combat sports so this whole video is a moot point. None of the two will draw more from fighting anyone else. Mayweather could sign up to fight Pacquiao, Canelo or GGG and will easily eclipse 2 million buys. I can't say the same about McGregor.

Look up the PPV buys when Floyd fought Pacquiao and then Andre Berto. The PPV buys dropped big time that's why Mayweather chose McGregor because to him it makes the best "business sense". I Disagree. if you're able to go through a fight without being hit, why isn't that captivating? Just because he wasn't in wars like Ali, Frazier, Hearns, Leonard, etc. why is he less captivating? Here's the thing.....Floyd's interest level reside in his undefeated record and unparalleled boxing skills. Floyd is the money fight, PERIOD. He's making this fight because it would be the easiest 100mil he ever made. Now, he can make about 30-35 mil fighting Pac in a rematch, which would be a much bigger risk of losing. This Conner's biggest payday ever.

michael McDonald I agree....but the reason he got $300mil was because of the purse, PPV buys and tickets. tHey charged a kidney to see and attend the fight and Floyd collected a lionshare of the profits. the rematch hype wouldn't be nearly as high as the first fight. so I would be surprised if he got $75mil off the rematch.
