Sabratha is originally a city inhabited by the (Berbers), who are its original inhabitants, then the Phoenicians came to it and built those ruins, then the pagan Romans came to it and developed it, then the Germans (Vondals) came to it and worked to destroy it, and finally the Romans of Byzantium returned to it and rebuilt it

Rome was based on agriculture, and there were two types of Romans, the aristocracy inhabited the coastal cities such as Sabratha, Leptis and Oya, all of which are Libyan coastal areas, while the other Romans were from the farmer class, where they cultivated olives, grapes, figs, and others. They lived in the mountain to protect them and worked in agriculture. They pay her taxes, give them those lands for free, and the Romans of the mountains, and they are tribes that used to live in the interior of Libya in the western mountain up to the city of Bani Walid, and despite neglect and vandalism, their remnants exist today
Thank you 🙏🏻 very much for sharing . Greetings from USA 🇺🇸 God bless all the people in Libya 🇱🇾🥰
