NixOS seems to be everywhere these days and has the fanatic energy usually reserved for Arch users. But WHY is it so popular? In this talk, I'll go over 5 reasons I love NixOS and you might too.

As for stable and unstable, an even better solution is to just use certain packages from unstable while the rest of the system stays on stable.
This is possible not just for the kernel but every package.
