What would’ve made this better is if Freddy was fighting him while he was chasing you meaning he slowly walks towards you but stops himself every second or so and he tries to warn you about him. Sure he does it first in the beginning but would be nice if he continued or told Gregory to run once he had control.
like the terminator 3 when the t-800 (arnie) gets a virus from the enemy terminator and warns john to stay away from him because he is not himself anymore

afaik there's a checkpoint when you get to the entrance of the ruins of the pizzeria
The game reloads to a checkpoint after exiting the broken elevator. They didn't get sent back far at all lol
There also exists a bit of a bug where if you go back to the security office where you 'deposit' the STAFF head in the arcade, interacting with the machine there will trigger a cutscene and reenable saving, without impeding progress.

You can, but the doors won't open.
There is, however, a glitch with the vent that Monty comes through that you can use to get back there.

I was hoping for a cutscene where there’s a sudden stop, freddy’s head slowly turning to face Gregory, then speaking in Afton’s voice with his trademark “I always come back” before attacking Gregory.
Imagine Freddy taking the body and stumbling into the woods, then using mythical powers and chanting to revive him, then it’s discovered Freddys not a animatronic. He’s a entity and his time is up so he dissolves into nothing.
And how then the player reunites with their father later on.
If only Afton had dialogue 😭

he only had lines on the trailer i was HYPED when i saw him at the end of the trailer but after seeing the game i was like: "Wha?- is that all?" The boss fight was awful i feel like it isn't actually William, he's still burning in hell i think

I think the reason why he has glowing purple eyes is because he has Roxy's eyes

Yeah it happen, plus to know that he is in control just see his eyes, they turn light purple or just purple when the Afton control is complete, and if we ran away when its done Freddy will start chasing us and nothing will stop him, so that's why we have to save him from Afton.

My partner just got to this section and if you were also curious, shooting him in the face with the fazer blaster doesn't stop him from charging you for the jumpscare but it will trigger one of the random lines he has for when he gets flashed in the eyes.

This makes me wonder if he, at least indirectly, has been controlling the animatronics this entire time. Not just in this game, but in all the games. Like a puppet master.
Would certainly explain why even the non-haunted animatronics in the series go after you.
Silver Eyes, while non-canon, gives a better explination as to why the animatronics kill adults.
Though why do the ones in this game try to kill the kid, was it Vanny's orders?
@@OmegaChase1002 They're explicitly stated to have been hacked, yes. Freddy is the only one who malfunctioned in the process, thus why he's not hostile.
Freddy's eyes turned purple aswell, that's a nice touch

Tiny detail i adore, but when he gets up close in his jumpscare his eyes have a soft purple glow around the edges. Amazing detail that really ties it together

It's a shame we can't get any voice lines from william I mean I know he's dead and all but still in fnaf 6 he was talking just fine, but in this game he just laughs.

Has anyone realized that right at the very end, Freddy opens his mouth wide and leans in? Gregory had a pretty appetizing frontal lobe then.

This might be a bit weird, but i have a theory that Freddy is possessed by Michael and Molten Freddy is possessed by Henry. So that means they sacrificed themself ending up only saving the children's soul, but not the adult's. This would also explain why Molten Freddy is "keeping" afton from chasing Gregory. And why is Everytime Vanny/Glitchtrap try to take over Freddy, they always failed and taking some time, is it because Freddy's control is already "occupied"?. I know it doesn't make sense since they both died killing themselves making them not "restless" in the first place, but hey.. there's no theory too crazy, it's FNAF.
... I actually can see this happening-
Some info here- "Molten Freddy" is called The Blob. The Blob is an amalgamation of most (if not all) animatronics from FNAF 1, 2, SL and Pizzeria Simulator. A somewhat famous theory: Each of the animatronics fight for control in The Blob, according to the theory.
Freddy seems to know allot about tech and sometimes talks in a eerie tone, though for most of the time he talks advanced.
He is 100% not the past game protagonist as their and Freddys behaviour is different and incompatible.
Even after all the other Freddy jumpscares I'm used to, this one just hurts cause it's Gregory 😭

It feels weird seeing Freddy run toward you and jumpscare instead of open his chest.
You know.. i'm surprised that Vanny hadn't been used more cause this would have been a good useful idea for a boss battle against her from what i've seen.. There is so much potential in this game and it all either had been cut or squandered.
Turns out Vanny did have a bigger part in the game. There's a hidden "Vanny meter" that would've made her come after you if you stayed in the same place for too long. I just hate how nothing was done with her.

The game gives you a substantial amount of time. I feel like unless you get totally pinned down by Roxy, most players would never see this happen.
