As far as the rash under your ring, it is from moisture. If you notice, on your fingers, you have hair follicles. These will get clogged and you may get an itchy rash if these follicles are under something for a long period of time. I would suggest taking your rings off when you shower, when you are swimming, doing dishes, ect. This is especially important if you are not drying your hands thoroughly, the moisture can get trapped and it causes inflammation. If you choose not to take your rings off while doing these things, be sure to take them off briefly and dry underneath really well making sure that all the water is out of the actual ring before putting them back on and you should be fine. A barrier cream is also very beneficial when you are in the winter months as your hands tend to be drier than other times of the year.
