It was an unexpected eye opener to finally see you two feel cold like the rest of us mere mortals!! Fantastic hike to start 2024, so 'purty' in winter.
Thank you, and we totally agree. It's the contrast of the white against the deep colors of the rock -- especially in person, it is just really magical and highlights the drama of the rock formations. Perfect place to start off the new year! ❤️
Breathtakingly beautiful! I love how you capture the awesomeness of the trails. Your channel is underrated. Happy New Year! What a great way to start the year by watching your videos.
How beautiful! You really nailed the photography guys. Spectacular colors and the crunchy ice and snow under foot really set the tone for the whole vlog. It made me want to put on a extra thick pair of wool socks! 🧦 Kudos to the lovely singer, wouldn’t be the same without her! 😘 Love you guys and thanks for sharing! Happy New Year! ❤️
Aw thanks Larry! I hope you got yourself some socks and maybe even a cup of hot cocoa (with marshmallows?) to keep yourself warm watching this. Meanwhile would have been nice to have that on the trail, but you know Adam always soldiers through with his pop tarts and now apparently Boost too!
Elise your right hot chocolate would definitely hit the spot with miniature marshmallows. Yum! Whats wrong with Adam? Elise you married a sweet weirdo. 😂@@LiveHardxLoveHard
We love Bryce! The snow really makes the orange colors pop. 🧡 Micro-spikes are the bomb. We love ours, too! 😊 One time we hiked on the Taylor Creek Trail in Kolob Canyons in Zion and saw hardly anyone once it got icy and snowy. They all turned around. But not us! 😂 We had the Double Arch Alcove at the end all to ourselves. It was great!
Thanks Ben! Really happy that the color contrasts came through on camera, because in person it was simply magical. The red and white were both almost glowing in the morning light. So happy you are liking the music, too -- more new songs coming in 2024!! ❤️
What an amazing place! Quite apart from the rock formations themselves, the colour contrasts between the snow and the warmth of the rock are just incredible!
That was the best part and definitely why we wanted to make a visit at this time of year. I imagine Zion would be similar in that way, and hope we get to visit in the snow this year too!
Beautiful. Bryce canyon was not on my radar but you two make it look so awesome. But what really got me was totally loving the new music, you have been busy and we definitely appreciate it.
Aw this seriously makes me so happy to hear! Yes I’ve been having fun experimenting with some new ways to produce, and it’s awesome you noticed and also are liking it! Motivates me to keep growing :)
Thank you, and it's our pleasure. We were so excited when we saw the snow contrasting against the red rock, because we knew you guys would love seeing those magical colors! ❤️
Yes Teddy! So glad you've gotten a chance to see it like this -- it's well worth the freezing cold to be all alone in the midst of so much natural beauty! ❤️
So glad you liked it, Carl! We just loved everything about this experience (well, except for the ultra freezing cold in the early morning 🥶), and of course love sharing it with you. Lots more amazing winter places coming up in the next couple of months! ❤️
Thank you very much, and so happy to hear you have seen it in person. There is just no way for the camera to do justice to the majesty of this beautiful place. If you haven't been yet in winter, we highly recommend -- no crowds, and it is just truly stunning in the snow! ❤️
Beautiful! Amazing photography. I remembered several of those scenes -- sans the snow, of course. Being the typical day-hiker, that I am, lol. Keep on, doing what you do. And thanks for bringing us along.
Beautiful. Must take forever driving every weekend, doing something all day while filming, then finding time to edit it all. Not sure how you're able to sustain this level of work, but you're producing awesome videos.
Thank you so much for recognizing and calling that out. It really is a huge time commitment when you add in all the travel time, editing, and hiking. However, it truly is what we love to do, and will be the perfect amount of stuff once we are actually early retired! ❤️
Thanks JB, that is great to hear! We have actually never seen one of our own videos on a big beautiful screen like that, but definitely want to. Meanwhile, keep that screen ready because we're planning to bring you some awesome adventures in 2024! ❤️
Lovely music opens the video like a sacred lost Vivaldi piece; and then vocals with piano toward the end. Oh, so beautiful...the contrast mirroring the stark pallet of sunlight above the blushing peaks. Thank you for such sweet music among the garden pillars. I appreciate all the effort behind the scenes to orchestrate visual and auditory grandeur. + a pop tart!
Wow Mark, what a beautifully written and poetic comment. It means so much to us that you appreciate the artistry we try to put into the channel. Getting that kind of feedback makes it all feel worth it ❤️
Yesss, please do venture out that way! Hitting it for sunrise is just unreal in person, and if you’re a photographer I’m sure you would capture it in all its glory!
We were there last February. We didn’t do much hiking though. We’re from Hawaii, and it was my first time in snow- I definitely WAS NOT ready for that chill! Thanks for the reminder of how beautiful that place is!
Haha that must have been quite a shock to your system, Jaylene -- it really is freezing up there in the winter! 🥶 But so glad that you got to see it in the snow, because those views are just magical in person. ❤️
The last time I ventured to Bryce Canyon was in the midst of summer, a decision I soon realized was a huge mistake. With just two water bottles in tow, my son and I found ourselves grappling with temperatures soaring beyond 110°F. By the time we reached the trail's bottom, every drop of our water supply had been consumed. Fatigue weighed heavily on my son, and it was then that a benevolent doctor, coincidentally hiking behind us, detected the signs of heat stroke. Swiftly offering a liter of bottled water, he ensured my son's well-being before resuming his own trek. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name or contact information. I only remember he was from the Bay Area. My singular focus was to carry my son back to the car so he can cool down and rest. Your breathtaking video capturing the essence of Bryce Canyon rekindled the memory of that guardian angel who rescued my son. A decade later, I found myself in a similar scenario at Calaveras Big Trees State Park. This time, I was the one extending my only water bottle to a man in need, seeking relief for his overheated and thirsty young daughter. Reflecting on these experiences, I wish you two an incredible 2024 filled with joy, love, laughters, and positivity!
Robert thank you for sharing those wonderful stories! Really love the moral of you carrying that kindness forward and helping someone in need a full ten years later. What a great message about both preparedness and generosity to begin the new year. Wishing you a great 2024 as well, and looking forward to sharing a big year of adventures with you. ❤️
Bryce Canyon might be the most photogenic place on the planet, and even more so with snow! Once again, your photography is superb. You could capture dozens of screen shots and have frameable images! While I was watching, I mapped it and it's less than 7 1/2 hours from where I live. I'm going! Thanks for another awsome video.
Yes David! So happy to hear you are going!! If you can, try to arrive at the canyon just before sunrise because it is truly spectactular as the sun comes up. But do make sure to bring extra warm clothes and microspikes because it is SO cold in the morning! ❤️
ELISE and ADAM a hello from France, and my best wishes for 2024. Wow Bryce Canyon Snowy ! What a nice video to start the year, and at the beginning of your adventure a large bird crosses the path of ELISE, this unexpected sign from the gods of nature augurs for you a year with exceptional hikes. For me, Bryce Canyon remains the most mythical and mysterious place, and to see all its snow-draped fairies standing up at the bend of a path is sometimes scary, but it is of an unspeakable beauty. Beyond protecting itself from the bitter cold, ADAM's Western side ready to do a heist blends well with the place. It's a great gift for the new year, and something to make me dream. Kisses to both of you.
Beautiful video and a great day for a hike. We hiked it last November and had it to ourselves as well. Some snow but not quite as much as you had. Nice way to start the year. Thanks for sharing.
I did those trails 2 yrs ago. However, my day hike was during the summer. I left Vegas at 2 or 3 in the morning, drove through Zion as i made my way to Bryce. Now I had some early epic morning colors, but I definitely think you guys are the winners with the snow filled backdrop alongbwithbthe amazing southwest color of Bryce.
Super cool you did this route, Mark! Ya we've done it in both seasons, and prefer the winter both for the color contrast and for having fewer people. But with that said, it's one of world's most spectacular hikes in any season, so you really can't lose! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard I can totally get behind the fewer people. Although crazy, the day I went as I ascended back up to the top, an accident happened with a hiker who rolled their ankle and possibly broke it. One of the Rangers on the way back up I noticed was seriously struggling. I stopped with him while others who were around him didn't even care. I let him drink most of my water supply as we made it back to the ambulance and his Park Truck. He thanked emensicly as he couldn't understand why this day he was having such a struggle. I'm just really glad I was there in the shape I was in at the time and noticed him showing signs a struggle.
@@markapuan That's a great story, and also a really good example of why it's good to bring more water than you think you'll need. You never know what will happen!
Been there done that, got caught in a snow storm and had to hitchhike to find our car! Then hiked for 3 hours in freezing Zion Narrows a day or two later then The Wave! Such beautiful landscape out there! I can't wait to go back!! Way to bring in 2024 perfectly!
Wow Jennifer that is hardcore that you hiked Zion Narrows in winter!! We got super cold after a few hours in there even in late summer. Love the hitchhiking to find the car story, and totally see how that could happen in Bryce. Those parking areas get confusing! ❤️
Absolutely breathtaking!!!! Bryce Canyon is one of my favorite places on earth! And in the snow even more magical ❄️😍 the footage definitely came out! Love you two!! Happy new year 🎆😘
Happy New Year, Arielle! I didn't actually know you'd been to Bryce, but of course not surprised given your excellent adventure resume. It really was incredible in the snow! ❤️ --A
Happy New Year, great place in the winter no people just the beautiful nature surrounding you! This is one of our favorite places. Get a Thermos with some hot beverage to enjoy out there😎
Dave that is a fantastic recommendation! A thermos full of steaming hot chocolate (or in Adam's case steamed vanilla milk!) would have been just the thing for our snack spot. Happy New Year! ❤️
Been there many times over the years, but always in spring/summer. Winter looks like a true delight, and it’s going on the (ever-longer) list. Thanks. And a Happy New Year!
Oh yes you 100% should! We did really like it more in winter if you’re ok with the cold. There is something about the brilliant white snow on the red rock that makes it so much more spectacular!
My mom visited every national park back in the day before it was a thing and her favorite was Bryce - I have been twice in spring and fall with snow and it is truly a magical fairy Adventureland even though it is so cold it is always worth it - what a great way to start off the new year
Thanks Larry! Yeah this time of year is so great for those of us who enjoy hiking without the crowds. All it takes is a little bundling up for this beauty!
This looks absolutely gorgeous in snow! It adds this extra layer of contrast and color, and the starting seconds of the video with the dawn colors are just surreal! The fact that there are no people literally makes it a paradise with all of this. So jealous! How were the temps? Looking very much forward to your adventures this year!
Thank you very much, and we totally agree -- it was amazing to be out there in all that beauty with no other people around. The temps were absolutely freezing, especially early in the morning before the sun started to warm things up. It was about 10 Fahrenheit, and well below 0 with wind chill. Can't wait to bring you all kinds of fun adventures this year, starting with lots of fun in the winter snow! ❤️
Yes!! That is awesome to hear -- you will love it! Even though it will be freezing cold, we recommend getting there at sunrise if you can, because it is just so, so beautiful at that hour. Let us know how it goes! ❤️
Thanks Massimo! We definitely have made a conscious decision to emphasize travel and adventure over things like buying cars or a house, but for us it is definitely worth the trade-off because we are the most happy when discovering somewhere new! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard there’s lots of evidence that cold exposure is good for humans and yes it does build character. I’m planning a one day Bryce mission on the way home from a Park City ski trip in late Feb. fingers crossed that it will be doable. What brand micro spikes do you recommend?
hi there, bryce is so beautiful in the winter time, one my favourite us national parks. i was there in the summertime 40 years ago. watching from sydney australia.
You must be much more toasty than us right about now! Bryce is definitely special to us, although we really have to see every NP before we call it our fave! Hope you’re having a great 2024!
Ok ok but I did check a mountain weather forecast the other day and it literally said -0!! Bryce warmed up to maybe 25-30 so still pretty chilly. Worth it tho! Love you pops!
Omg those colors on the opening scene! The Utah 5 is definitely on my list. Jasper and Banff first though! Thanks for heading there to share this video. You are right! Hardly any hikers are out there now....10° IS TOO COLD TO HIKE 😵💫🥶
That place takes me back to happier times. I hiked several loops, the campsite chosen was at over 8000 feet. Although mid Sept 1992, it was SO cold overnight, the only compensation was to visit the toilet, warm there ! What a beautiful, dramatic landscape, unique for sure.
Now I am just picturing your sad hiking soul shivering in a toilet in Bryce Canyon to warm up 😂😂 does sound like a fun adventure camping in Bryce though!
Both were definitely true, Peter! It was so cold in the morning, though it did feel a lot warmer once the sun got higher in the sky. The early morning part was the best though, because it was golden hour and there was no one else on the trail! ❤️
I had no idea there were walkable trails in bryce canyon ... it looks too spikey to be able too walk! ... Looked Spectacular ... btw i have only ever seen photographs and video of the place Happy New Year you two!
Yes! There are so many beautiful trails there to walk right down into nature's sculpture garden -- it is definitely a place you should visit one day, because it's truly stunning in person. Happy New Year! ❤️
I try to watch scenes of summer and the tropics at this time of year... but making an exception for the Mtn Goats :) Glad to see you warmed up a bit later on. The gargantuan sunglasses made an all-too-brief cameo; need more suns! Happy New Year friends
It’s so sad, I broke that pair and have been trying to find the perfect replacement 😂 I will not let you down! Hopefully this one didn’t make ya too cold!
Totally agree! We only saw one other person on the Peekaboo loop, and he was a trail runner who is probably out there all the time. Otherwise, it was just us alone in all that beautiful natural wonder! More crowded of course by the time we got back up toward the top of Queen's Garden, but still much better than in the summer. ❤️
I always consider winter time trail runs and hikes much more fun vs summer time. Less people, its more quiet. that fresh feeling in the air is always there. and no bugs at all too depending on location. Thanks on sharing.
Fantastic video, Elise as a math teacher, I can definitely state that minus zero is not a thing. But that would make a great trail name. As always thanks for sharing. Take care.
So awesome that you’re a math teacher! But I do have to say, I was prepping for an adventure yesterday and scouring mountain forecast for the weather and I kid you not it said weather at our desired peak was going to be -0!! 😱
Bryce in the winter could not be more spectacular. Years ago I took my family there in a Piper Cherokee 235 and the flight home to SoCal was one of the most beautiful flights I’ve ever had in over 20 years of flying.
Definitely went full screen mode on this one. Spectacular background scenery. Snow just added to the color contrasts throughout the hike. I will get to BC soon (with or without the snow)
I hope Adam got to watch the PopTart Bowl and the giant poptart that they produced for the winning team. Eat your heart out Adam! Love southern Utah wilderness!
Haha, we were actually traveling and missed the pop tart bowl. But here’s what I want to know - if pop tart has the money to sponsor a whole football game, couldn’t they throw a little money our way for all the love we give them?
Great video as always! So Elise, if your trail name is "minus zero," then Adam's need's to be "the Pop Tart bandit," or maybe just "Pop Tart" for short! 😉 Since trail names are bestowed by fellow hikers, therefore I dub thee "the pop tart bandit!" 😂 I think I heard a lyric that I want to go back to revisit so I'll backtrack to the "new" song in here to listen again. May have a question for you later on it!
Yes Jeff! Adam's trail name is definitely Pop Tart by popular decree!! Love that you're enjoying the music, and please feel free to ask whatever questions about it! ❤️ --E
It really is starting to sound like some sort of cartoon double agent pair, traveling the world and wreaking havoc on the hiking trails. You have GOT to check out Bryce! So close to Zion but definitely very unique and special ❤️
Ive watched quite a few of your posts now, and that for me was one of the best...fantastic photography, and of course great chemistry between you two. Im not sure why Elise wears such skimpy outfits whilst hiking ...but thats up to you guys. Your posts really open up the mountains to a guy watching from Argyll County Scotland, where our mountains peak at just over 3,000ft. If you keep making them...I`ll keep watching them ..Take care. :)
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed this one, we had a lot of fun filming it. My thought process with clothing is always to avoid sweating and getting my base layers wet. Since we hike pretty aggressively and/or run, I tend to wear the tights. However if we slow down or stop I’ll grab my outer shell layers from my pack so I don’t catch a chill. Hope you’re having a great 2024 ✌️- E
Elise, the reason why Adam needs a snack is because he is very tall and lean! Lol Elise, you run on the trail so easily! I'm on a diet to lose about 30 lbs currently to be able to move like Jagger again.. Cheers, MN Dave ❤❤❤
Happy new year Adam and Elise... or should I say "hiking bandit and minus zero". Are you two planning on hiking the PCT? After all you two already have trail names!
Haha Happy New Year! We are definitely considering doing the PCT at some point after Adam takes early retirement, though we also enjoy traveling to new places and doing interesting peaks so much that it might be hard to dedicate a full 6 months to just one project. Still, Adam really has a dream of doing PCT so it will likely happen eventually! ❤️
Awesome video guys! 😱😱 Have you hiked Fairyland Loop? That trail is also incredible. 😍🤯 I might have to go and check Bryce Canyon in winter. 🥶 Being from Phoenix I have hiked those trails only in summer (July, August) 😬
Yes! The last time we visited and made a vid we did all the trails in the park in a day. It was wild and gorgeous and exhausting 😂 definitely give it a go in winter!
Hey guys, I knew you would find somewhere to hike, weather should never stop you haha, sometimes it's too hot, sometimes it is too cold, and rain never stops me haha By the time I'm finished with your hikes, I might have to apply for a 12-month visa to the USA just to get all the trails done haha Keep in touch guys, you are like part of my family now haha
Thanks Andrew! Honestly, given your love of adventure you really should come over for a full year -- you would definitely not run out of epic things to explore even if you hiked every day. Hope your 2024 is full of great adventures, and we will def keep bringing you new ideas for things to explore over here! ❤️
ANOTHER outstandingly gorgeous video .. were you carrying water?? Did it ice in 'minus zero' temps?!? My soul remains on Hiway 395 and the eastern sierras, but Zion and Bryce are literally my back yard ... Thanx again ...
Ha it was so cold out we forgot to drink our water and see if it had iced over! Our hearts are definitely forever with the Sierra, but we do love the beauty of Utah! ❤️
Are you guys really like this in real life?... Both of you so cute, happy, and uplifting? I hope so. Either way though. Your videos are, and I just wanna say thank you :)
Haha well we're definitely pretty happy and uplifting whenever we're traveling or out doing adventures because that's our favorite thing, but of course we do have our down moments. Adam stuck in the car in a major traffic jam, for example, is not pretty 😂. Anyway, delighted you're enjoying the videos, and looking forward to bringing you lots of big adventures in 2024! ❤️
Bryce in Winter? Hoodoo you think yoo are? Amaz-ular! "For those hoo dare!" Winter is becoming the right time to hit these parks and trails, leaving the hoards of temperate travelers to the warmer digs. OK, so I'm guessing Denali, other Alaska heights, and of course...of course...Patagonia and the Andes 2024. Chile down there too, btw. Carry on.
Oh I see what you did there :) those are some really good guesses actually! We are definitely hoping Patagonia, Rainier, possibly Denali and some major Colorado 14ers to start!
What an incredible nature. You also had a lot of luck with nice winter weather, despite cold. I like watching your videos very much. But I can not imagine myself hiking with so little stuff (food, clothes,..) in the rucksack in the summer, let alone in the winter... I also rarelly see, that you wear helmets, when you are climbing or you are in exposed places. Your followers are different experineced in mountaineering and perhaps you should be more aware of safety. I also know that you are experience hikers and climbers, but anyway safety first. I wish you many more good videos and Happy New Year 2024🙂.
Thanks Simon, and that's a good reminder to us that we want to do a gear breakdown for you guys at some point. You might be surprised how much stuff, including extra food, gear, and layers of clothing, that we actually do carry with us even in those 12 liter packs. We're also planning to do a video on when when and why we bring helmets, though that might be in the members section where we do a lot of the more technical videos. Meanwhile, Happy New Year and wishing you a wonderful 2024! ❤️
It was an unexpected eye opener to finally see you two feel cold like the rest of us mere mortals!! Fantastic hike to start 2024, so 'purty' in winter.
Haha, yeah for us with temperatures, much as with dating, there is a big difference between the 30s and the teens 😂
Absolutely Fabulous!
Thanks! Yeah it really was something special with all the snow!
Bryce Canyon really takes on a whole other nature during the winter! Definitely some gorgeous views.

Perfect hike🏆MinusZero meets Hiking Bandit in one of the most breathtaking places on earth. So incredibly majestic !!
Haha that def sounds like a series we would watch! What debauchery will the terrible two get up to next?
What a beautiful video! Thank you for showing this amazing park.

Oh yeah, the shots came out. Spectacular, I love the Winter scenes. Thanks.😊
Yay, so happy they came through! Definitely our new favorite time in the park :)
the synths in the opening track are so ethereal ☺
So glad you like it, Alex! We've been having a lot of fun playing around with ethereal sounds on our tracks lately! ❤️
Stunning! I’ve only been to Bryce in the summer. But winter looks so much better. Those snow-capped hoodoos. The proper footwear is paramount!
Hoodoos are already awesome, but throw some snow on top and they are unreal!

Gorgeous! Ive only been in the summer but hope to get back there one day and enjoy the magic of the snow and winter!
Yes! It’s a completely different experience and I don’t think you will regret it!
Thank you!@@LiveHardxLoveHard
DAN
Beautiful video and a great day for a hike. We hiked it last November and had it to ourselves as well. Some snow but not quite as much as you had. Nice way to start the year. Thanks for sharing.
Agree, it really was the perfect way to ring in 2024! And now our new favorite time of year to be there :)
-0 and The Bandit strikes again! Wonderful scenery!
Haha yes Monte! Wait til you see us high up in the Colorado Mountains in high winds in a couple weeks -- minus zero at below zero!!! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard yes twice!! Utah is magical
Beautiful. Happy New Year to your both.
Thanks Anna! Happy New Year to you as well, and wishing you lots of fun, beauty and adventure in 2024. ❤️
That is really, really beautiful scenery.
We really felt the whites of the snow just brought out the majestic red rocks even more!
Thanks for helping me mark items off my bucket list, albeit this venue vicariously
Aw our favorite part is taking you guys to places you’ve never been!!
We have a list that won’t stop growing too 😂 happy happy 2024!
Been wanting to get to Bryce. Definitely on the list! Looking forward to more adventures!
Oh yes you 100% should! We did really like it more in winter if you’re ok with the cold. There is something about the brilliant white snow on the red rock that makes it so much more spectacular!
That is glorious and beautiful park.
She sure is a beauty!!
Great vlog guys, that square rock ( 1.30 ) balanced on top of that pinnacle, away to the left !
Have a fun packed 2024
😺😸 ❤
Thanks John! Yeah we love all the wild formations in this park! Happy 2024 ❤️
My mom visited every national park back in the day before it was a thing and her favorite was Bryce - I have been twice in spring and fall with snow and it is truly a magical fairy Adventureland even though it is so cold it is always worth it - what a great way to start off the new year
Wow your mom is an OG! Must have been awesome growing up with her as an influence. This was def worth the cold!!
Great Footage.! Happy New Year.! Have a Super Groovy Hiking year.!
Thanks Randy! Hoping you’ve got some awesome adventures ahead this year!
Such a beautiful place, the colors are beautiful, plus another great hike with no crowds, good job , thank you ! Larry Owens
Great lighting and colors"
Thank you! Yes Bryce is always beautiful, but in winter the contrast of the snow with the red rocks is truly stunning. ❤️
I've done that in November thanksgiving time. It is glorious! I've run that trail in summer. One of my best runs ever!!!
Nice Cheryl! Yes we absolutely loved running these trails during summer. Not quite as easy with all the ice in winter but just as pretty!
Great fun AF cold adventure in Bryce Canyon!! Love it!!
It was a FAFCA 😂
I’m going to Bryce next week! Can’t wait
Yes!! That is awesome to hear -- you will love it! Even though it will be freezing cold, we recommend getting there at sunrise if you can, because it is just so, so beautiful at that hour. Let us know how it goes! ❤️
How can you travel so much, and to distant locations too !! You are very lucky guys !
Thanks Massimo! We definitely have made a conscious decision to emphasize travel and adventure over things like buying cars or a house, but for us it is definitely worth the trade-off because we are the most happy when discovering somewhere new! ❤️
So beautiful! Adam's photography skills are off the charts! Stay safe and Happy new year you guys!❤️🎉🎉🌲😘😘✌️🌲
Thanks so much! We had such a great time filming this one. Happy 2024!!
Breathtaking views, thanks for braving the frigid conditions and giving us a little glimpse of Bryce with some early winter snow
Sometimes you gotta build a little character by suffering through the cold, right?
@@jamesmoran2326 Awesome! Kahtoola microspikes are fantastic. Inexpensive, and very easy to use. Let us know how it goes!
@@LiveHardxLoveHardthank you for the 2nd response and equipment advice! You two are an inspiration, thanks for continuing to put out great content
hi there, bryce is so beautiful in the winter time, one my favourite us national parks. i was there in the summertime 40 years ago. watching from sydney australia.
You must be much more toasty than us right about now! Bryce is definitely special to us, although we really have to see every NP before we call it our fave! Hope you’re having a great 2024!
-0 (hah!) at sunrise, and it warmed up to what? So beautiful in the snow--thanks for sharing.
Love you guys.
Ok ok but I did check a mountain weather forecast the other day and it literally said -0!! Bryce warmed up to maybe 25-30 so still pretty chilly. Worth it tho! Love you pops!
❤❤
Omg those colors on the opening scene! The Utah 5 is definitely on my list. Jasper and Banff first though! Thanks for heading there to share this video. You are right! Hardly any hikers are out there now....10° IS TOO COLD TO HIKE 😵💫🥶
Ahh yes we have to get out to Banff too. These cold weather hikes are preparing us. Trying to be tougher than our Angeleno roots want us to be! 😂
Beautiful video! Great humor with "worst vertical ever" and "minus zero."
Haha! Thanks Mark. I’m pretty sure Elise’s vertical is -0 😂
That place takes me back to happier times. I hiked several loops, the campsite chosen was at over 8000 feet. Although mid Sept 1992, it was SO cold overnight, the only compensation was to visit the toilet, warm there ! What a beautiful, dramatic landscape, unique for sure.
Now I am just picturing your sad hiking soul shivering in a toilet in Bryce Canyon to warm up 😂😂 does sound like a fun adventure camping in Bryce though!
that looked so beautiful and cold
Where can I get that beautiful soundtrack E, your voice is peace and beauty!
Aw thanks Bill! We have some tracks out on our Bandcamp and I am working on getting out the new ones early this year as well!
Best time to vist Bryce Canyon..
Very few tourists..
Awesome video! Will be there in two weeks for the first time!
Oh that is awesome! Can’t wait to hear how you like it!
I always consider winter time trail runs and hikes much more fun vs summer time. Less people, its more quiet. that fresh feeling in the air is always there. and no bugs at all too depending on location. Thanks on sharing.
Yes! Couldn’t agree more. The no bugs is a huge bonus!!
❤ GR8 VID ~ LOVED IT ❤ I got cold just watching ❤
Thanks David! Yeah that sunrise was so chilly but so worth it! Thankfully once the sun started glistening on the snow it started warming up :)
Bryce in the winter could not be more spectacular. Years ago I took my family there in a Piper Cherokee 235 and the flight home to SoCal was one of the most beautiful flights I’ve ever had in over 20 years of flying.
Wow that sounds incredible! Would love to see Bryce from above!!
Beautiful content you guys!!! Thanks for taking us along!!!
Really a sweet one .
Thanks Stacie! So happy we could share this beauty with ya ❤️
I want to hike there one day but when it's warmer! Living in Florida, I would die in those cold temps! I also love cinnamon pop tarts!
If I’m going to eat a pop tart, cinnamon will be my go to as well. However, Adam turns his nose up at them because he is a pop tart elitist 😂
Wow beautiful
Thanks very much! We were surprised and delighted by how beautiful and uncrowded it was in winter!❤️
Absolutely breathtaking😍 Happy New Year y’all🫶🏽✨🤍
Thanks Terra, and hoping your 2024 is rad so far!
Definitely went full screen mode on this one. Spectacular background scenery. Snow just added to the color contrasts throughout the hike. I will get to BC soon (with or without the snow)
Oh yay I’m so glad some of that came through with the shots! Can’t wait to hear how BC goes!
Beautiful!
She really is a beautiful park this time of year!
Happy new year to you from Cannes the best for you
Thank you! And same to you, hope Cannes is beautiful right now :)
Beautiful gorgeous Redrock 😍
She really was a beauty with that snow!
Is that a new song?😊😊❄️❄️🎵🎼
Happy New Year to you both.
A few new ish tunes sprinkled in there yes :) happy 2024 to you!
Happy new year!
Thanks Claus, Happy New Year to you as well! ❤️
Happy New Year to you both!
Same to you Nigel! Hope it’s been off to a great start :)
Can't wait for 2024!
Us too Cheryl! 🥳🥳
No joke! Adam is a super influencer. Come on Kellogg’s get with it!
@@LiveHardxLoveHard It's settled - Adam, you have a fitting trail name! 😁
Pop Tart Bandit and Minus Zero back at it.
As many times as I’ve been to Zion I can’t believe I still haven’t made it over to Bryce
It really is starting to sound like some sort of cartoon double agent pair, traveling the world and wreaking havoc on the hiking trails. You have GOT to check out Bryce! So close to Zion but definitely very unique and special ❤️
Very well done
Thanks Jeff! Bryce sure is a beauty!
Hope you’re having a great 2024 ✌️- E
thanks for the reply...that makes perfect sense . All the best to you both for 2024 :) take care. GG@@LiveHardxLoveHard
Elise, the reason why Adam needs a snack is because he is very tall and lean! Lol
Elise, you run on the trail so easily!
I'm on a diet to lose about 30 lbs currently to be able to move like Jagger again..
Cheers,
MN Dave ❤❤❤
That’s awesome Dave, can’t wait to hear how your Jagger moves come along!!
@@LiveHardxLoveHard thx, will do.. 😆
So gorgeous. So looks like you had one other person on the trail at 5:31. Yes?
Yes Ellen! The awesome part is, that guy was running the entire thing!
Awesome video guys! 😱😱
Have you hiked Fairyland Loop? That trail is also incredible. 😍🤯
I might have to go and check Bryce Canyon in winter. 🥶
Being from Phoenix I have hiked those trails only in summer (July, August) 😬
Yes! The last time we visited and made a vid we did all the trails in the park in a day. It was wild and gorgeous and exhausting 😂 definitely give it a go in winter!
Hey guys, I knew you would find somewhere to hike, weather should never stop you haha, sometimes it's too hot, sometimes it is too cold, and rain never stops me haha
By the time I'm finished with your hikes, I might have to apply for a 12-month visa to the USA just to get all the trails done haha
Keep in touch guys, you are like part of my family now haha
Thanks Andrew! Honestly, given your love of adventure you really should come over for a full year -- you would definitely not run out of epic things to explore even if you hiked every day. Hope your 2024 is full of great adventures, and we will def keep bringing you new ideas for things to explore over here! ❤️
When I come over, we gotta do a couple of super long and hard hikes together! I'll shout the pop tarts haha@@LiveHardxLoveHard
beautiful guys!! Great one to start the year off with. Wasn't there a rockslide on the Navajo loop a few weeks back? looks like you were on the Navajo
Whoa we had no idea about the slide on Navajo! Sounds dicey. We did include Navajo in our loop :)
Yeah, I just looked it up....happened around dec 8th. I guess it's all been cleared by now.@@LiveHardxLoveHard
Fantastic 🙂
Thanks so much! Glad to share her beauty!
