Hello my beautiful people! Let me present you a new composition called โStories in the Mistโ.
Imagine yourself roaming in the woods, enjoying the beauty of nature. Lost in though, you donโt notice the night descend. It wraps you tight in her dark blanket, making you trip over roots and branches. To make matters worse, the rain begins, and the wind soon follows. And so you find yourself lost in the darkness, with shivers down your spine and a nervous knot in your stomach. You try to make your way through, but every step you take seems to lead nowhere.
The lightning strikes, and in the flash you see vague outlines of a house. Surrounded by a feeble light of street lamps, sunk in the mist, somber it stands tall among the ancient trees.
Will you seek refuge behind the stone walls? Will you venture into the unknown and try your luck with the silent guardian? Or will you surrender to the mercy of elements, trying your luck weathering the storm in the wild but familiar darkness?
*_Tell me, lovelies, what would you do in such situation? Would you choose familiar over unknown? Or would you dare and venture?_*

What a beautiful imagination for this short story. I really imagined myself in that situation while reading it.
I will definitely dare to enter the mystical house. A mystical house found deep in the woods would be an adventure and mystery that I would dare to live. It could be a house of a vampire ๐งโโ๏ธ or a hunted by ghost ๐ป that would be scary of course, but vampires would be my favorite.
I would venture to the house and put my will up against the ever changing hand of chance. Albeit the darkness hath provided me shelter in her own right, I would not risk myself with the mercy of the elements this night. If the darkness is to one day consume me, she will have to wait but one more night.

We walked a little faster down the corridor and silently slipped in. As soon as the door shut I sighed, and flopped down on his desk chair. The office was just as messy as the last time I was there, though even more dimly lit.
"Are you ready?"
He asked, face hollow in the candle light as he sat down to the piano.
"Of Course, let's get this over with, shall we?"
"Where do you want to go?"
He said, warming up in a minor scale that sent shivers down my spine.
I paused, afraid to ask the daunting question. The yearning that had kept me awake for months since I met him. He could bring him back. My brother could live in more than just my memories. I would pay the price, anny price to reverse the knife.
"Back in time."
He smiled deviously, hands resting perilously on the keys.
"Your in luck, your majesty. That is, in fact, my specialty."
I killed him, now it's my turn to face the knife.

A flash of lightning swells across the ever-growing midnight sky as I feel the chill of the cool night air brush against my cheeks. Nearby in the distance, a dark blur swiftly moves through the trees. Legend tells that on the last full moon of the year, an unknown creature rises from its lair somewhere deep within this very forest. Awakened by the strength and power of the moon's majesty, the creature prowls the forest in search of any foreign travelers. If caught, well...no one really knows. But it is believed that the creature doesn't just take any unknown traveler, but only the person with the heart and soul of a warrior. Someone who truly isn't afraid to face evil eye to eye and laugh in its face. A person who, if to be taken and dragged into a dark pit would smile and not have an ounce of worry present in their mind. But as we all know, I'm by no means anything close to being a warrior. As I continue along the path, I keep my eyes fixed on the grandiose castle up ahead. Another flash of lightning slices across the night sky when I suddenly hear a faint whisper now beginning to echo in my ears. The unknown voice continues its whispering, but I can't make out what it's saying. Pulling my trench coat up over my neck, the wind abruptly begins picking up as a crackle of thunder reverberates through the forest. I rub my ears hard when I suddenly hear the words, "Ellody...RUN". Adrenaline now surging through my veins, I listen to the voice running as fast as I can. I can see the castle growing closer in the distance, a golden glow beaming out from its windows guiding me like a lighthouse in the darkness. Another clap of thunder pushes me to run faster as the trees around me sway in a nightmarish manner. Almost as if they're trying to warn me. A sudden crackling sound echoes from behind. My arms are covered in goosebumps and I can hear my heart beating in my ears. "It's just your imagination" I tell myself. I've got to keep going. As I quickly turn back around, a dark shadow now stands only a mere ten feet in front of me. Its features, even hidden from the night appear blurred when two eyes as white as the moon glare in my direction. The eerie whisper returns now yelling in my ears, "You're too late" when I feel my legs pulled out from under me. That was the last thing I can remember.

Its 2am and its just light novel with smoke .my parents sleep but I cant im going in college at 9am
"The night had been a sanctuary from the chaos that was the day. Seeing the moon hang amidst the stars that appeared to be celestial tears spread out against the blackness that was unknown to many. Even if the night itself was without either moon or star, he drew peace of the most serene regard from the fact that nothing could harm him. It was as if the night itself was a proverbial mother looking after one of her own children.
This being said, it was not without the fact that he was clueless to the many denizens of the darkness who felt akin to it, more than he.
He who had only known this peace for just over 23 years surely could not hold a candle to those who had made it home long before time itself was recorded.
To this young soul, the night offered its tranquility but in a not so long forgotten moment in time, did he dream of the manor beyond the Bare Willow Forest. The dreams started when was just 9 years old. He had never ventured out beyond the boundaries of the city of Rivershire. Many children found all their needs tended by the day to day hands of a city of just over a million souls. However, even as a child, he felt a pull at his soul around the moment Fall arrived. As nature was preparing her bed his heart raced with vigor at the display of her soon to be anointed crown of orange and brown foliage. Stories of ghouls and practitioners participating in rites, both sanctioned and not easily overtook any thought of a mere celebratory feast of the season. He was one fascinated by these tales and so badly did he wish to see the full abundance of the natural realm.
That night he dreamed of heavens tears falling upon the city. Something beyond his mind at the time pulled at him. Outside his window, nestled among dead trees was the glow emanating from a source. He got out of bed, gathered clothes upon his body, and made way, careful not to wake his parents. Outside rain Graced the streets causing the light of streetlamps to form shimmering orange glows in the puddles. He didnt mind for beacon from yonder took precedence over soaked clothes, in his eyes. As one is pulled by the smell of food, so was this a pull to him. Not a soul was out, nor even rat scurrying in the alleyway. He preceded forward reaching further to the outskirts of the city and closer to that which called to him. It was faint but he could just barely hear his name called. "Tomas. Tomas"
Tomas stopped for a moment. The voice sounded ethereal yet a bit of femininity to it mixed with a hint of gentleness that would warm even a heart lost to all feeling. Tomas felt this in his very core and proceeded further, rain now soaking his short, burlap toned hair. His eyes the hue of spring grass fixated through the falling sheets as he walked the path outside the city and into the Bare Willow Forest. The voice called again, "Tomas".
Tomas began to run as if a child on Christmas morning down the stairs and to the tree. Through the rain he could make out the glow of the beacon. Eventually he came to within a view of where the source was. A home, three stories tall, made from bricks, guarded by gate that had at a 4 to 6 foot advantage over him. The sensation was stronger now. Tomas, being a naturally curious child, had to know. However, upon further step he would awake, looking around as if he were still there, but he was back in his own reality. For the next 8 years during Fall season, he would dream of the manor, getting ever closer only for reality to intervene.
By the time Tomas was 17, he had focused more on his studies and building his own foundation in the world. Yet even if it was not fall, every night, especially on rainy ones, he would think of the manor and the sensation that pulled at him. It all felt real...too real. Surely it was just a dream... or was it?"
