Hi! My name is Michele and I'm on my journey to finding my star. After six years of sharing my struggles to become a mum I realized that I had been so busy with the fight that I forgot to live. Now I'm focusing on the things I am most passionate about; minimalism, veganism, low waste, overcoming food addiction, and travel. Come join me on my journey to living intentionally and Finding My Star.

So awsome that your parents will able to provide childcare for Emrys while you're working and that they'll be able to bond with her.

Yes, I'm definitely lucky! We still don't know when they will be moving out here but it should be before summer 2022. Maximum she'll have to be in daycare is a year.

What grade did you switch to? What made you want to change?

That year was HELL! I asked to switch because I had very high needs kids with no support and I was burning out. I asked for anything but kinder or pre-K, preferably grade one. There were no openings though so I stayed in kindergarten. I'm glad though because this year I fell back in love with it. Every grade is hard, every grade has pros and cons, but at the end of the day I still feel like kinder is the best place for me. It's also the most stable since we will always need two kinder teachers and no one really wants it lol. With government cuts it's going to get harder but it will be ok.
