Bruce really captured the personality of a guy whom you've just met that will either be your best friend for life, or will see you dead by the day's end, and you have no choice but to wait and find out which.

I LOVE this skit..... it's so TRUE! I went around for weeks at a time saying this about everything & NOBODY had a clue what I was talking about! LMAO The only people who find this skit funny are the ones who recognize THEMSELVES in it! We always point fingers & say, "I'm not like THAT!" & we do the same stupid s*** everyone else does, we just don't call ourselves out on it! And NO, it would be just like you to say "speak for yourself" now, wouldn't it? That's why I love you..... you're so TRUE!
@@coreycox2345 just clowning. Yeah he is great , Bruce McCulloch. Haven’t seen him in anything other than KITH.. maybe he did and I just don’t know about it.
Bruce had a bit of a Chris Farley vibe in this sketch. Especially the way he delivers "outdoorsy" when sniffing the Pine Freshener, the anger that's also a naively happy smile.
OMG! I've been looking for this skit forver! I used to hijack my brothers VHS tapes of Kids and watch this over and over!!! Thank you! Made my day (sadly) :)
The hood flipped up on mine too, had to put a screw in the gas tank to stop a pinhole leak, smoke came out of the top of the dash for the first couple minutes after starting it up. Smooth ride though, paid $300.
Something tells me this line was improvised, that scripted line was "$1000 bucks" (Because 36 bucks a month is at 30 payments is $1080.) and him probably acting like he paid cash money but then going onto talking about 30 payments of 36 bucks and how it fucked his life up. But in the middle of filming he improvised "300 bucks, 30 easy payments" which is a fucking hilarious one liner and didn't plan on using it, just did it as a goof, and then it editing they realized one of the best lines is the way he delivers "300 bucks, 30 EASY PAYMENTS!" made them go with it.
I wonder if this is Bobby from the future? This sketch appeared after the one where Bobby's teacher tells him that rock will die and jazz rule. If that is the case then it would make it even funnier, especially the part where torture himself with listening to the jazz tape but pretends to like it.
6 years ago and in all that time this video has garnered 2 dislikes, that's 1 dislike every 3 years. Or 4 years if you go with how long the video's been up. That's impressive only 2 dickheads existed for this video in that amount of time.
Over 10 years. What will another 10 bring? Will this still be here in 100, after we are all long gone from the Earth? Really makes you think. Life is a pretty sweet fruit.
I am trying to find a KITH sketch, I believe (I could be wrong) it featured Bruce and Scott as two teenage/high school friends who had to find a summer job. The father played by Dave made a brief appearance at the beginning telling them to get a job. They decided they didn't want to work for anyone else, so they came up with the idea of driving around the neighborhood selling salad out of the trunk on the car. (Like the ice cream man sells ice cream, they would sell salad) The quote from the skit that I always use is, "Everyone likes salad but no one likes making salad." Does anyone know this sketch?
@@BrianKishreviews Thank you, I didn't think about The State, you could be correct. Now that I am thinking about it, it might have been a MADtv sketch.

A fantastic analogy.

Hahaha!!! This comment took me by complete comedic surprise. Nicely done.

KITH has this nostalgic feel to it. I remember coming home after school to put it on. Takes me back to the good old days.

Yep same here. Watched it and early 90’s SNL reruns after school everyday on TV. 😂
My wife and I have been quoting this sketch at each other for ages now. Life's a pretty sweet fruit.

So good that he can make something so simple, so funny. What a talent.
For he is Brucio and ever shall be!

Kith at their best. This is comedy genius from some awesome writers/performers.
i picked the perfect day to go bald!! ! comedy at it's quirky best !!
Who am I kidding? 36 bux a month nearly killed me ..
The absolute weirdness of some of their sketches, the Kids really were in a league of their own.
There is something about this actor. Even when the script is lost on me, I can't take my eyes off his face. Captivating.
It’s called "having a crush" on someone .. or in more severe cases , an "infatuation"

Wait, 30 easy payments of 36 bucks a month, for a $300 car? Bruce got ripped off big time

The interest will kill ya
$300 was the sticker price. The 140% interest rate is what really got him.

finally get to see it again,,,anytime I want.

I learned to drive in that car. So did everyone in the 70s. Still have that rearview mirror.
