I’m a commanders fan and I do believe in this team to show everyone they will be good for some years to come, I don’t think they will win this game unless they are able to completely pressure josh Allen, like we did Wilson, we will see

I think we lose the next to games and finally get our sht in check & then we go on a run.We struggle against scrambling qb’s. That’s just too many mistakes but it showed how big the margin was for Buffalo because if any 1 of those things don’t happen, idk if the Jets pull it out. They were all straight give away a too. It’s not like the Jets defense, which is incredible, did anything to cause them. Allen just apparently thought Whitehead was on the Bills lol. It wasn’t about the Bills winning or the final score. That was the first game I remember of Allen’s career where he did not have a single throw that made fans face palm. It was the most complete game Dorsey has called in his short OC career. It was the first time the reigning rushing champ had been held to negative yards in a game in NFL history. This game snapped Allen’s streak of 6 straight games with a turnover. It was also the first game in probably 2 seasons where Spencer Brown did not look like he was on skates. Diggs who had a relatively quiet day last week averages 111.8 yards per game vs Washington. Sean McDermott has historically been very good at confusing young QBs. Bills have also won 8 out of the last 9 matchups vs Washington. That’s every matchup since Washington beat buffalo in the SB to end the 92-93 season. I think Washington could be a good team but I’m not sure who they are yet considering so far they have beaten the Cardinals and the Broncos by a combined 7 points. They gave up 33 points to the Broncos who were held to just 16 vs the team the Bills just put up 38 on. I got nothing against Washington but unless you believe Allen is going to have another multiple turnover game, which I believe is unlikely given the clear emphasis on taking what the Def gives him. You have to convince yourself Washington can either hold Buffalo under 30, Bills have scored at least 30 points more times in recent years than any other team. Or you have to believe Washington can put up 24 on the Bills defense. A defense that outside of 1, 83 yard run has looked really good. Mind if I ask which of those 3 scenarios you see?
Clearly haven’t watched Allen for long then.. 2 years ago he had a perfect game in the playoffs against the Patriots… he’s also had MANY complete games similar to that, you must not be watching that closely if you are talking as if it was his best game of his career lmao

The game vs the pats in the playoffs was unbelievable, more TDs than incompletions, the game after his grandmother passed, I believe vs the Seahawks, he balled out, the 2nd matchup between the patriots 2 years ago when he literally took over the 4th quarter and just refused to let us lose, the playoff game vs the Chiefs, numerous games vs Miami, I could go on and on. Those games are always impressive and flashy but the questions about Allen have never been about his ceiling. We have seen how good he can be countless times. The issue with Allen has always been the ability to stay patient and play the boring game. In each of those games you could find at least 1 time where he made a decision that put the ball in harms way or he refused to throw it away and tried to do too much and took a bad sack. This game was a game where he proved he could play boring ball and go an entire game without 1 play that put the ball in harms way. When you are playing a team that you know can’t hang with you or when you get a lead on an elite team, you need to play that way and up to this point I don’t think Allen proved he could for an entire game. Just because a bad decision ends in our favor doesn’t mean it wasn’t a bad decision. What I meant by best game Allen has ever played is in reference to answering the questions that people justifiably ask based on his turnover history. This was a complete game with the ball never being in harms way and Josh not getting impatient, even for 1 play. Maybe best was a poor choice of words but I hope that clarifies it.

Before he played with a UCL injury in his throwing elbow, Brady and Rodgers both had individual post season games, since Allen’s been in the league, with more int than Allen had in his post season career. Mahomes had 3 post season games with more int than Allen had in his post season career before this past run when he was pushing throw the injury. Even after the run with the injury, Allen has a similar TD/int ratio to Mahomes, but Allen averages more ypg in post season games. Everyone thinks Burrow is clutch, right? Allen has played 1 more post season game than burrow. They have the same number of int but Allen has double the TDs, and averages more ypg. Our season has ended the last few years because our top 10 (at least) defense gives up like 30 ppg in the post season. That’s over 10 more than Burrows Bengals and almost a TD more than Mahomes Chiefs. If our defense can play the post season anywhere close to the level they play the regular season I thing we have at least 1 ring rn. Just wanted to make sure I pointed that out because I’m in no way hating on Allen. I think he’s the most talented QB in the NFL. I just think games like this can translate that talent into making him the best QB in the NFL which I don’t think he is rn.
