Great review Spicy, it's a lovely looking bike,I'm tempted, but I'm waiting to see the scrambler in the dealerships, it looks excellent in that yellow! 👌
Great video, really gives an impression how the bike really is in normal, day-to-day use. If there is ONE wish I would have - that would be side-by-side comparison to Kawasaki W800. I know they are different, but IMO try to deliver similar experience and even have their origin at the same company. No, I do not really care about which one is 'more BSA'. Thank you
Which version do you have? I notice that the fins on the engine appear to have been machined to reveal bright alloy edges ... but I can't see a similar finish on any of the bikes which are listed on the BSA website. It's really apparent at 17:45.
Tempted to buy my dad one, his stable is I 72 Norton commando and a harley electro glide both are abit too much for him At his age so this bike at that price ticks the boxes for a surprise. Was looking at a RE as I know he likes them but this well looks better to my eyes and price point is comparable. Tempting. I'll stick with my 1990 fzr 600 Genesis lol
There's a guy on RUclips who removed his baffle then fitted a de-cat pipe...and had to re-fit the baffle coz it was too noisy!..all the silencing is in that bloody great catalytic converter..and Euro 5 is the reason it runs so hot & has an on/off throttle..a Fuelx Lite will cure that!!👍
l don't think this is a Shyte bike, however, l believe calling it a Goldstar is a bit of a stretch...the only think Goldstar about it is the Tank Badge. apart from that whats the connection.

Best reviewer so far.
Good review - comparing likes with likes and with an eye to what the bike is designed to do. Thanks👍
It does have a slip&assist clutch. Very nice video!

the only issue i can forsee with the rear brake on the left is it'll make pad changes difficult with a sidecar fitted.
The plan was always to build a BSA factory in the U.K

Doing my test next year, my choice is going to be the BSA, or RE interceptor or Guerrilla
Engine response should improve when it's run in with a few thousand miles on it..!?

ByBre is a subsidiary of Brembo, it stands for "By Brembo".
Covered later in the video.
serious comment. This is a shit bike! they should have stuck with the sr500 engine of 1999
A Yamaha engine?

@@spicy110 yep, bsa regal built in 1999 a 500cc using the SR engine. It was crowned the BSA Gold SR. McLaren designed the frame
I did not know they did that! Fair.
Nice detailed balanced comment, very helpful - keep going😊
