Why is this still advertised, it is literally not in the game
whats worse is they even went back to this video and edited the release date of the game. So they looked at this knowing it isn't in game and still said yup keep it up.
I mean, it does say it's a "Work in Progress"... They just kind of decided to go a different way with the final product...

Even then this is advertised on the official WC3 webiste right now. So they are showing something that is not in the game

Night elf reforged model looks different from the original concept. They had shining sharp eyes, some kind of primitive and civilized asian looking culture. But they don't actually look like wild or mysterious for now. They still look beautiful in the reforged one. But they lost the hunter and wild like looking. They now look like Tolkin elves having european civilization instead of the culture based on tiger cavalry and subtropical environment nearby huge trees, and huge tigers. I hope night elf reforged one to change little bit more to sharp impression so they look fit with their unfamiliar purple skin color. Also since they are primitive elves, even before 10000years ago. Therefore their culture shouldn't look European that affected by romes too much. They need more of nomadic look but the arcane civilization should look non European, something before romes and more like sub tropical based culture because they have tigers and huge trees. (Tigers actually grows in russia but trees don't grow that huge in that freezing environment. so sub tropical based culture looks more natural for those elements.) Their raised cheekbones, narrow face, narrow and sharp eyes, and tall body is important that looks kind of the mixture of asian, caucasian, mediterranean and nomadic looking. Night elves have very strange cultural base looking wild and civilized subtropical cultures. Reforged just released some hours ago, full of bugs and missing content. I logged in and immediately noticed several UI things that could have been done better and also some bugs/missing features... I just came back here to see how it could have been done and was PROMISED to us... I'm sad and just disappointed. Maybe I was kinda naive to think that there is still a bit left of the good old Blizzard we all fell in love with. R.I.P. Blizzard, you played a big role in my teenage and young adult days, with epic stories and fantastic characters. I had hope. :(

Argh! From what I can gather, the idiots claiming they didn’t want change got what they wanted. Even tough there was no massive backlash to this like they are implying or claiming.
These cinematics would have made the game stand out good compared to the remastered of Starcraft.
But instead, blizzard cut corners and delivered us essentially a re-skin of W3 but with feature missing and other broken promises from blizzcon 2018.
Even the old game was updated with these terrible new “features” so even if you have the old game and didn’t buy the remaster, you won’t escape the downgrades.

I'm really glad you guys "preserved the true spirit of Warcraft 3" and "allow players to relive these unforgettable moments as they were" and that you didn't "steer too far from the original game." I would have hated to see something that looks this nice in the actual reforged game. I'm thrilled you still have this video on your marketing website as if this is what we're going to see in the game we pay for. I'm absolutely tickled that you are the first company in history to "remaster" a game and REMOVE content that was in the original game. Real fantastic work. Kame, and the best part of WC3 in my opinion was not even the melee game (i actually liked the WC2 melee game better); it was the player community, and the trippy shit that they would make using the game editor. And from what i understand, the game editor is getting a full overhaul. YES!!! :)

Lol I remember The Culling was the first mission that I really had difficulty completing. I was either focusing on Arthas or building stuff at my base and neglecting the other, which caused me to lose so many times. But I finally managed to do both at the same time and beat this mission. I learnt multitasking that day :)
Entropi as a kid I was always confused as to what you were supposed to do because I didn’t see the tip to auto attack builds and didn’t understand that yet. It took picking it up like a year or two later for me to realize my mistake

WOW is a Continuation of the Warcraft Story, but not Warcraft 4.
It's more of a spinoff then a sequel, as Ironic as that sounds, as it became more successful then Warcraft could ever hope to be.
Now that they cooked the new models for WCIII the 4th chapther is even more close... I think it will come out eventually if the genre rise again. For now too few people enjoy and play RTS, nothing like the golden era of '90s. Just think about Starcraft II, probably the best RTS living, and still only few ppl playing it

I know I couldn't bear to play WC3 Reforged with those 4+ hours of reforged cutscenes are still advertised on their website... ... ... REALLY Glad I didn't preorder this.
I played up to this point in the campaign hoping they might have kept it in the final version. I shouldn't have been surprised as I was to find that this too was absent. AND to add insult to injury, Blizzard won't refund me because I have logged in 'too much playtime' in this game. I am appalled by how ridiculous Blizzard's refund policy is. I was hoping that this release would be their redemption, but clearly they are not the company they once were... EA, Ubisoft, Activision Blizzard be f---king with us like the damn Prime Evils.
my only issue is that they are on the bridge not the hills outside the bridge, and I can live with that.

Without the culling, the plague would have spread throughout the Eastern Kingdoms and the end result would have been similar.
Uther should have had the resolve to do what had to be done. If he had concurred with Arthas on that matter, Uther would have been in a position to counsel him to not foolishly go to Northrend.

Why change the voices? The original ones were good and they're the voices that made the damn scene iconic
They probably want to embellish the story with new voice lines, which means they need to re-record everything for consistency. I also expect they want crisper, higher quality recordings of the dialogue which would also require them to re-rerecord the voice-work. Both means you have to track down the old voice actors and that isn't always possible. Blizzard for example refused to bring back the original voice actor for Arthas (who was the best imo) but they wanted to pay him even less money this time so he declined.
