Living about 40 km from Venice, i can tell that the light, the mood and the colors you've captured are the same someone would remember for a lifetime even if being there just once.

This is a badboy. Compared to the gh4 this thing has deaper balanced colors, less orange look and better lowlight to the eye. Amazing.

Beautiful shots although there's too much post on top of the footage, such extreme vignette and grading make it hard to judge the camera itself. However, if you're capable of achieving quality like this with the LX100 then it's definitely a bargain. Looks absolutely tremendous on a 4K monitor.

You're welcome! I'm thinking of getting the Sony RX100 IV. I haven't bought a camera before, just been using my iPhone 5s to shoot video and photos.
Ramadan Besim You can download the manual for the RX100 IV and see that after only 5 minutes of 4K video you may get overheating.
The LX100 m43 sensor can be used for extended periods without any heat issues.
The RX100 IV is a still pic camera. The video function is for very short clips.
NewbToob : That's true about the Sony. It's not that good of a video camera.
+Ramadan Besim also consider lumix g7, you still can use rx100 IV for 4k but it's limited, one thing though they added s log 3 if you really into it

I am a LX100 user and would like to know if you also had problems with camera stabilization. My camera even with the stabilizer on does not make any difference if I turn it off in the menu. I'm thinking I have a faulty unit. Does this happen with the camera you tested? In my case only the fact of filming is already a lot of trepidation in the video. If you can answer me, thank you.
Hi, I use normally stabilization on and never had a problem. Maybe you have faulty unit.
HayotFilms for photos my camera works great with stabilizer but for vídeo nothing...
LX100 DOES NOT have stabilization in video
