This album is definitely when they hit their stride. As much as I love their older albums, Spencer absolutely flourishes when he's writing concept albums.
@derp derpin Hard disagree again. From a production standpoint alone, ETITB and Silver Scream blow their older albums out of the water. Also, Spencer's vocals sound way more mature on the newer records.
INK has to be one of my favorite bands, they never fail to disappoint me when it comes to music. Every Trick In The Book is one of my favorite INK albums so it was awesome to see you react to this. Absolutely loved it 🔥🤘🏻
@@OhrionReacts My favorite songs off of ETITB are Communion of the Cursed and Hell in The Hallways so I suggest checking the album out its definitely a great one. 🤘🏻
IT is the end, stabbing in the dark, the American nightmare, merry axe-mas, thank god it’s Friday, the jig is up, enjoy your slay are heavy as fuck and when he was surprised that assault and batteries was heavy I was like wtf cuz I swore he just heard a bunch of those heavy ass songs off the silver scream😂
@derp derpin I only mentioned new songs cuz he said the older songs seem heavier even though they have a good amount of heavy still, and tbh I came into this band on the predator album but the silver scream and every trick are huge improvements to their previous stuff, but I like everything by them lol
Hey Ohrion you're gonna LOVE this - during a warped tour show, spencer couldn't play because he was attending a friends wedding, so the band got other band members to perform their set, Cody and Briton from Wage War sang this song (fitting as it says in the lyrics "I'm waging war on myself") The singer of Dayseeker did The American Nightmare and the vocalists of Chelsea Grin did Hell In The Hallways
I noticed you pointed leads out in this as well. This is still JD, who did the silver scream. Dan, their new lead guitarist did your time is up and the upcoming horror wood album
@@lucl8580 idk I can definitely tell that JD is missing. He was the backbone of the band, he wrote/recorded guitars, bass, orchestrated everything, drums and not to forget his screams.. The new stuff is fine but I really think its missing the charm that was found from Safe is Just a Shadow to The Silver Scream
@@jhmusic1 Spencer has always been the backbone of the band. Don't get me wrong JD is amazing and i miss what he brought to the band's sound, but dan is easily the best guitarist INK has ever had. dude is unreal
Oh, bro. Don’t even get me started on INK, lol. I fuckin love these dudes! Literally listen to them every morning on my way to work. They are rad dudes. Let’s fuckin get into ‘er, bud!
So glad we as a community got you hooked on INK cause they are so underrated and I love how youve been reacting to them. Sorry im a few months late on all these ink vids you did but hell yeah the more INK vids on the channel the better!
PSA: What your hearing isn’t polyrhythms but syncopation. Polyrhythms are when there’s different rhythms layered on top of one another to create an auditory illusion of tempo change or warping, whereas syncopation is what happens in breakdowns where all the instruments play the same rhythms or in this case chugs
yes my dude is hooked. Claps.. 'Every Trick in the Book' is my favorite album. The new song is very close to this :D You are completely right. I feel like The silver Scream 2 - Welcome to Horrorwood is going to be the Darker, Old school Ink. I love Hip to be Scared, and if that is the least heavy we get, I am totally fine with that. Hell of a tune... I think they extended their fanbase and made the right move with The Silver scream. Now they are showing all the new fans how They can heavy. They were always super fast to, Assault & Batteries has that speed with the brutal heaviness.
Greatly enjoy your videos, man! If you feel like going further back in their discography, you should check out “Let’s Bury They Hatchet… In Your Head”. Completely different beast than what you hear today.
Definitely check out 'The greatest story ever told' next. It used to be their most popular song (before they started writing concept albums), still one of my favorites :D I am lucky to have heard it live in 2016 (on their first European tour), they don't play it that often live anymore
I have the first line of this song tattooed on my arm, INK shaped my music taste SO MUCH and I always come back to this song as what started it all! Absolutely sick and I can't wait for you to hear even more of their stuff, you won't be disappointed!
This is my favorite song by INK and also one of my Top 10 tracks ever. If I should ever decide to get a tattoo (which will never happen, but anyways), it would be "There exists no good, only unrealized evil" I just love this line. Truer words have never been uttered.
I'm conflicted between this song and Stabbing in the Dark as for which one is my favourite INK song. The chorus is just orgasmic. Btw, you might've just forgotten what you heard on Silver Scream because those were by far their heaviest tracks. Go back and listen to Merry Axe-Mas or IT Is The End. Hell yeah you should totally do a review of 'Every Trick In The Book'. It's a great album!
To be honest the silver scream is awesome but this is the album that got me into them and probably still my top #1 Also check out communion of the cursed my favorite song off the album
I’d love for you to react to “Sleight of Hand” by War of Ages! It’s straight fire and so far my track of the year. Listened to it 20 times since it came out this morning lol.

Totally hear that. The passion is truly there 🤘🔥
Maybe not commercially, but definitely artistically.
Yep, that was the first album that made them known on the map and create their own sound. Silver Scream was the important one, commercially.
@derp derpin Hard disagree again. From a production standpoint alone, ETITB and Silver Scream blow their older albums out of the water. Also, Spencer's vocals sound way more mature on the newer records.
@@Kozuka308 while i do agree, and spencers writing is genius, i liked their old style (tpbtp) a bit more
mostly cuz breakdowns

The Silver Scream is about movies, Every Trick In The Book is about books. This song was about Jekyll and Hyde
An album reaction would be cool
May have to 🤘🔥

That's fucking wicked. I want to hear these now
I saw it on RUclips! Rory did an incredible job 🔥🔥
Check out Hell In The Hallways by INK! 🤟
Noted my dude! Thanks for watching!
The Nature of the Beast has to be my favorite by them. The chorus is just so MASSIVE in that song.
