Your swing looks solid and your distances are very good. I play in Bergen County too and I have never seen some of the lines you took. My best score there was +5 from the whites. I would suggest as the other person said to practice putting. Valley Brook's greens are very slow which they do not break as much as Rockleigh, Solider Hill or Darlington. My other suggestion would be course management. On 11, I would of putted that on the fringe as there would be a better look at birdie. On 13, I would of hit a chip on the second and leave yourself 80-100 on the 3rd shot. It is too risky from that side of the fairway. It would be possible to go for it if you landed near the small tree on the left side. On 14, this hole is a bit deceiving . I think its smarter to hit it about 200 from the tee box straight ahead which leaves yourself about 100-130 for your second shot. It is only trouble on the left hand side. 16, I would of bump and run an 8 or putted the 3rd shot to get it up the ridge. 18, short is way better than long when approaching the green as you avoid the downhill chip and putt. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the feedback, I’ve been working on putting for a long time now, never been good at it and seeing these putts just barely go past the hole is both frustrating and a good sign to me that I’m on the right track, for my play style I love to play aggressive but lately have been unable too because suddenly I’m pulling my shots, mainly with my irons. Thank you so much for the feedback I really appreciate it
Thank you for the feedback, I’m still working on the small stuff, the shorter the club is the worse I am, I learned good from the tee box forward and not the other way around like most
Been there with the mildly frustrating rounds. You have a serious windup, love it.
