I'm okay with the modders getting paid for there work but I want 100% of that money going to the modders not a single dime to Bethesda they've made enough money off of this game at this point while the modders in most cases haven't made a single dime so that modders can get paid a little bit but Bethesda can piss off.

Paid mods is a scam so the already uber-wealthy can sell new content and don't have to give modders real jobs they can count on to pay their bills every month. That's one of the ways the community supports the game devs, by nurturing the talents of those who go on to work making the games. Now they are instead laying off current workers and sucking 2/3 of the profit from modders making sub par mods. But what happens of even 1/4 of modders start doing that? This community we spent decades building? I'm 15 years into building mods for free myself). Besides, making content that uses all of this open source community and got all of these things for free themselves, to turn around and start putting the stuff they made from this open source community is in bad taste at best. Donate to modders, yes please. But even more, please don't help destroy what we all worked so hard on creating. This community means even more to a lot of people, and quite a few who are a lot more shy than I am about speaking their minds. Eventually this greedy move by some, will ruin it for everyone. Not now, but eventually when it's too late to stop the machine, the temptation will be too great and instead of being a an artists paradise where everyone profits from the open source community, those poorer folk who always tend to be the best artists, will no longer be interested in this community, and you'll be left with mostly whales, and far less great artists. Go read what the smarter OG modders said from the start. They know what they're talking about because they built it to work for everyone. Not just for those with money. And Bethesda? You can see what's happening to them, no? They lost their soul when they started down this path of greed and betrayal of their greatest fans and allies.

I may not be so prolific, or as good as many of my peers, but this community is really important to me, and everyone who uses mods whether they realize it or not. It's sad anyone buy into this scam. A scam that in the end will essentially just make some of the already filthy rich, a little more rich, and the modders who deserved to be given good jobs, will be replaced by those willing to accept peanuts to help ruin it for everyone. And all for something they will never be able to count on every month. Give those who deserve it real jobs, not real stress. Stop breaking everything that was good in life just so the wealthy elite can take even more money out of circulation, thus also putting even more strain on the economy, just for their own immediate monetary gratification.
I have noticed that the creations that came WITH the anniversary edition are basically included in the base game. So if you want to get trophies/achievements you can with the creations on but not the mods. So I am thinking of getting the paid mods to test this unless someone knows already let me know in a comment please! But I think the paid mods would allow you to continue to play with mods and trophies turned on? Vs. turning them off. I have a feeling that the paid mods would run slightly better. I’ve noticed my game crashing way more with the free mods when I first used mods compared to the creations in creation club. So that may be the other benefit of the paid mods it allows for better testing to ensure the game runs smoothly while playing with some mods turned on.
Besides the pay part of the setup, I had to delete reserve space(Xbox) just to get to the site through console, two mods on my list was keeping me from entering, 1-UGH & 2- 60 fps menu, Im sure there’s many but after redoing my mod list WITHOUT those two mods Om having know issue…. Ps: for Xbox there is no longer WIP on the site through console, however through device(phone/IPod) WIP shows up but when you try to favor/bookmark they DO NOT show up on your favorites/ bookmarks, therefore any WIP mods I use are simply gone….
Personnally, since yesterday, I have a big problem on PC. In the main menu, the "Creations" option have disappeared. I can't manage my mods. And the console commands work but only display corrupt characters (square chatacters). I tried reboot game, pc... Nothing. Steam told me that there was 2 corrupts files so the app redownloads them but nothing change. Ultimately, I tried uninstall and install the game again. But nothing change. Fortunately, I didn't lose the mods already installed but this is irritating
For Xbox users it's wired I know too avoid crashes creating load orders disable all mods after downloading until you download everything I mean everything keeping no more than 7-8 abled, then turn them on on before hard reload
I disllike any changes above 1.5.79 because everything they added are so subpar and unprofessional. That being said I dont mind paid mod if its on the level of Dawnguard or Dragonborn DLC but anything else is just not worth it. But the biggest problem is how do I access the store feature when I want to downgrade my game to 1.5.79 because i dont want those stupid new bug pet quest.
I don't really care, firstly I play on GOG so I'm immune to updates but if not, the worst case scenario after mods get updated is I have to ignore a menu. Not sure where all the people acting like it's the apocalypse are getting it from.
