Fantastic video Trevor, it's really lovely on your balcony especially at sunrise 😊. Great points covered and you handled the 3 day rule really well. I've learnt to understand why the girls do what they do, have respect, and realise it's so easy to get attached. But they have feelings too. All in all it's a fantastic place to come. Regarding clothes it has to be shorts, and I find loose fitting short sleeve linen shirts kept me cool 😎 👌

After considering the comments from a lot of old hands that have been visiting Pattaya for years I can conclude that the people who have spoilt things in Pattaya are the wealthy guys from the US, UK, EU, and AUS who throw around money like confetti and therefore the girls have become very commercially orientated and entitled. Keep doing this and they are going to become like the women back home. I tell the ladies in Pattaya upfront that I am a farang from South Africa and the rand is useless against the dollar, pound, or euro and I cannot be a walking ATM, sorry. Find another farang for that but hang with me for an unforgettable time and the good ones do. It is an amazing place for any guy who can exercise some self-control. There are so many amazing things to do in Pattaya besides drinking and throwing money at the girls. :-)

And..I would like to ask you one thing, though I am going to join you tomorrow, but tell me..how do you feel to be there..I mean how do you push yourself to live a normal life..this place Pattaya exites us..May be because I come here once in a year, it is so much fun, drinking, boozing, getting around with lovely people (regular for them) ..You are always surrounded by that aura everyday..May be on cloud 9 ...but there has to be life beyond this..

When I lived there and the rate was around 40, £2000 was enough to get by and still dabble in the nightlife and around 3 or 4 companions a week (not gogos) I used to eat and live cheap to support the night entertainment. Best thing you can do is find a girl who you get on with and see her regularly but youll still probably have to support her a little and pay double for everything. If shes happy to eat cheap, understands how not to waste money then youre onto a winner. The money you dont spend at overpriced restaurants you can spend on her or doing other things. Ive rarely met a Thai girl in Pattaya that will go to posh restaurants you can get better food on food courts or cheap eateries. If anyone wants tips to save money over there ill be happy to share.
Trevor I don't think people who come to Thailand have ever heard of a float exchange rate, since 2009 the baht has drifted between the high 50's to the low 40's which can equate to a thirty % fall/rise in value of what you are getting and the problem seems to be like now in the low 40's that when converted to the GBP this put's or keeps the cost up depending how long it is at this rate. So the cost has not risen if spoken of as bahts but has if spoken as in GBP, which is why people say the cost has gone up. In reality costs in the last twenty years in Thai baht have not risen that drastically , how long has the baht bus been 10 baht in Pattaya or the street food you bought been 40/50 baht, beer prices vary according to the place you drink and as I see it it's only in the last 2/3 years that bars have been adding an extra 10 baht to a bottle, which in the main is a lot less of an increase that we have had in the UK in the last twenty years or so. As far as the cost of company is concerned that's down to the individual and their BAHTering skills, I have never paid the first price the company has asked for, and treating all girls on an equal basis have paid between 800 and 1200 for long time, never do short time, the average has been 1000 and all except one were bar girls, never paid more than 300 barfine, but they have tried to charge more on 2nd time from same bar to ask for more. Now these prices that we are paying if you relate them as prices in baht have not risen as much as prices in the UK and where in the UK would you get a long time £50 all inclusive of drinks and breakfast? I think it's about time people got real with the prices in Thailand, it's going to cost them a lot more in the UK this year if they are not allowed out of the country, and a lot harder to get a girl and more expensive to take her back to your place. You will be no more handsome man, you will be an ATM.
Trev, it is interesting to see the hidden camera's guys, I think Red Thailand or Thailand Red is one of the main ones. Do you know him and would you be able to post a picture in the members area? I think many would like to avoid him if possible.
Back in the day when Thailand's max note was 500 baht, along came the 1000 baht. The girls went from 500 to1000 over night. Lets hope they don't bring out a 5000 baht note.
Although I rarely drink 20-25 beers per week, it's really not that much especially if they're small beers. Better to worry about not day drinking rather than 4 small beers per night. Last time I was in TH (not Pattaya) I probably had less than 25 beers in 3 months but the bars were closed for most of that time.

Given that it's sometimes cold on plane flights, I developed a habit of wearing jeans and having a sweater while on planes, but changing in the plane's lavatory before landing into some shorts and a light short sleeve shirt. That way I am comfortable waiting in customs and immigration, and also before I get checked into where ever I am staying. I make sure to pack so I can get this from my carry on, and tuck the stuff I wear on the plane back in it's place.
Where would I look to pre order a drone license in Thailand before visiting of course. I have a UK license from our CAA and its £9 a year. Been watching loving your channel for a few months and love the advice and common sense for what may lay a head of me as a virgin farang! I don't think you ca pre-order a drone license as you have to go and sign your license etc. There are loads of golf societies here mate, literally loads so you will not be short on players and venues.
Bar fines - It is raw supply and demand. You look at the girls you have to choose from. They look at the customers they have to choose from. You just have to decide where you stand in the universe of possibilities. Clothes - As Trevor says, the dress code is casual. I would recommend that, if you sweat like I do, to wear quick dry t-shirts. They can be rinsed and re-worn the next day. I always carry a bandana to wipe the sweat off. It is hot here even at night. 55.000 baht per month? Note that if you are planning to live here and use the income method to meet the financial requirements and you are over 50 and single then the Immigration Department requires that you have a monthly income of 65,000 baht/month. That should be your starting point. I personally, actually knew almost nothing about Thailand's reputation before coming here. I had a friend talk about Soi 6 but I just took that to be the same as talking about going to North Beach in San Francisco. A small confined red light district. Trevor is absolutely correct. You can't understand Thailand without being here. I don't care what others think. I do what I want to do. Photos? I think you will be safe taking selfies of you and your girl.
Only caveat on the cloths is if you are going to do any touristy temple type stuff. Cannot quite remember the lengths required but I seem to think at least Elbow and Knee length.
The water is clean enough to swim now, did some swimming in Jomtien Beach but had to dodge the Lifeguards, officialy you can swim but some crazy local decision it’s not allowed because of social distancing. Could just wear a snorkel lol

As a teacher I am required to wear long black trousers, either a long or short sleeved shirt and neat closed shoes with socks. No biggie, cos I have lived here for 5 years so I've got used to the heat. I don't like showing my hairy legs anyway, not even in my private time.

Looking at your streetwalks I get a different impression. I can understand that bf are not going down and beer prices are not going down. Here, the bar must really think: do they open at all or not? But for the fees for the girls, these should be coming down if there are not enough customers around. If not, inflation is really going to hit hard.

I don't agree with clothes suggestion. I have never gone out clubbing wearing shorts in Pattaya. Jeans and t-shirt is my choise when i go out. Phuket is different, Phuket nights are tropical.

How do people wear jeans in Thailand, I always wear cargo shorts but get comments about looking naff but if I wear chino shorts I'll lose anything in my pockets. I wore jeans once and regretted it within minutes, literally drenched, so uncomfortable. I always recommend cargo anything as the extra pocket space is a godsend.

Your advise about drinking excessive alcohol, is very wise. Best to keep away from Pattaya, if you have alcohol problems. My advise, is don't come to Thailand to live, unless you have very ample savings, or long term passive income.

Just sad that with the amount of money the girls can earn most of them are not able to save a penney and finally end up with nothing. What I find of the rental prices for condo's is that they are incredible low for long term (1 year) but much higher if for example for only 2 months.

I’m not sure which is the best, but I’ve used AIS for 15+ years now. Prior to COVID I was coming to Thailand about 3 times a year, each trip only about 2 weeks. With AIS, there’s store fronts in the airport and most of the larger shopping mall in at least Bangkok and Pattaya. I’d usually exit customs and before you leaving the airport there was an AIS kiosk that I’d stop at and buy a plan (Wi-Fi and phone services) for the trip, If I didn’t do that at the airport, then it’d be one of my first stops once I got freshened up. DTAC is another big service provider and I assume offer similar packages. Very easy.

I was advised by my UK GP (and had) tetanus (which is one combined Diptheria, Polio,Tetanus jab) and also Hepatitis A jab (which could be contracted through food poisoning/dirty water etc). The DPT is just a single jab good for ten years, and the Hepatitis A is one jab - and then if you get a six-month booster then you’re set for life I think. No need for malaria tablets etc unless you’re planning to leave the tourist areas and go wildly off track. Check out the UK government travel advice website for more info
How much are the average bf etc these days? I used to get quoted from 800 to 2000 bf and 2000 to 6500 (phuket gogo wanted 6500 LOL). Walking street got ridiculous with their pricing. Thank god for soi hok

Actually the price has gone down. The trick at the moment is the girls on video are attempting to tack on barfine, even though with lockdown they are non existent. Currently supply and demand dictate there are few punters and and over load of ladies. During lockdown I have seen it as low as ST 800 and up. The restaurants, massage parlors, and hotels have lowered their price because of supply and demand, and there are plenty not seeing a punter daily.
Quite a few are making that sort of money now, even in the current hardly any tourist situation. These girls are no dummies and have found a way in the tourist drought to more or less become porn stars on Onlyfans and getting the distant onlookers to pay a monthly subsciption to their channel. The last year or so I have seen a dramatic increase in ladies that ask YOU if they can film when they are taking care so be warned just because you might find yourself unwittingly on the internet after they have posted your encounter with them on their Onlyfans page. Ninety nine per cent or more of the time the girl is not into you but is into what is in your wallet. The term "working girl" is a euphemism for (and I don't mean this in a derogatory way) a hooker. But now and again as in life generally there is strong mutual attraction and chemistry and the relationship may become something more. Was in Lady Love where my girlfriend was working. A guy took out his phone, I didn't see exactly what he was doing with it, but it did end up in the water. If I use my phone, I always hold it low with camera pointing downward, unless I'm with a lady and she can verify I was only showing her photos, not taking them.

Although I rarely drink 20-25 beers per week, it's really not that much especially if they're small beers. Better to worry about not day drinking rather than 4 small beers per night.
Last time I was in TH (not Pattaya) I probably had less than 25 beers in 3 months but the bars were closed for most of that time.

Given that it's sometimes cold on plane flights, I developed a habit of wearing jeans and having a sweater while on planes, but changing in the plane's lavatory before landing into some shorts and a light short sleeve shirt. That way I am comfortable waiting in customs and immigration, and also before I get checked into where ever I am staying. I make sure to pack so I can get this from my carry on, and tuck the stuff I wear on the plane back in it's place.

Where would I look to pre order a drone license in Thailand before visiting of course. I have a UK license from our CAA and its £9 a year. Been watching loving your channel for a few months and love the advice and common sense for what may lay a head of me as a virgin farang! My main reason for visiting is the golf and some fun evenings out is a big bonus! I hear hua hin is a good area for golf but obviously quieter! I have seen that i-rovers is one place that do golf. As you have stated many times in your videos you need hobbies over there and it would be very boring just drinking away your days and paying for company! Keep them coming.....
I don't think you ca pre-order a drone license as you have to go and sign your license etc. There are loads of golf societies here mate, literally loads so you will not be short on players and venues.

Clothes - As Trevor says, the dress code is casual. I would recommend that, if you sweat like I do, to wear quick dry t-shirts. They can be rinsed and re-worn the next day. I always carry a bandana to wipe the sweat off. It is hot here even at night.

The water is clean enough to swim now, did some swimming in Jomtien Beach but had to dodge the Lifeguards, officialy you can swim but some crazy local decision it’s not allowed because of social distancing. Could just wear a snorkel lol

How do people wear jeans in Thailand, I always wear cargo shorts but get comments about looking naff but if I wear chino shorts I'll lose anything in my pockets. I wore jeans once and regretted it within minutes, literally drenched, so uncomfortable. I always recommend cargo anything as the extra pocket space is a godsend.
When you find a pair of shorts that the pockets are deep enough make sure you buy them that's what I do

I’m not sure which is the best, but I’ve used AIS for 15+ years now. Prior to COVID I was coming to Thailand about 3 times a year, each trip only about 2 weeks. With AIS, there’s store fronts in the airport and most of the larger shopping mall in at least Bangkok and Pattaya. I’d usually exit customs and before you leaving the airport there was an AIS kiosk that I’d stop at and buy a plan (Wi-Fi and phone services) for the trip, If I didn’t do that at the airport, then it’d be one of my first stops once I got freshened up. DTAC is another big service provider and I assume offer similar packages. Very easy.

I was advised by my UK GP (and had) tetanus (which is one combined Diptheria, Polio,Tetanus jab) and also Hepatitis A jab (which could be contracted through food poisoning/dirty water etc).
The DPT is just a single jab good for ten years, and the Hepatitis A is one jab - and then if you get a six-month booster then you’re set for life I think.
No need for malaria tablets etc unless you’re planning to leave the tourist areas and go wildly off track.

Actually the price has gone down. The trick at the moment is the girls on video are attempting to tack on barfine, even though with lockdown they are non existent. Currently supply and demand dictate there are few punters and and over load of ladies. During lockdown I have seen it as low as ST 800 and up. The restaurants, massage parlors, and hotels have lowered their price because of supply and demand, and there are plenty not seeing a punter daily.
