I'm 16 right now and when I turn 17, I'm going to try out for the Nation Guard and want to be ground force.

I also submitted too my Recruiter all my physical documentation from my Primary Doctor. and a few day's ago I pass my Color Topography Test. 2 more steps and I'm in. the MOS I'm choosing is 92G Culinary Specialist

I'm 36 and would love to join the guard and this time of need in 2022 the only thing stopping me is a diploma or GED I feel like it's nonsense because I would like to go on 11bravo and I don't feel like a piece of paper saying I completed 12 years of school is going to help me too much on the battlefield. It sure as hell ain't bulletproof but I'm willing and able to die for my country and willing to serve out my time at 36 sign for 20 years retire at 55 sounds like a good deal to me unless I die in honor and that's fine too but just give me the chance and I will do what it takes to do one of the best. I'm in the fort Campbell Kentucky area and I'm ready

I have a question, if I’m currently an active duty marine in the infantry when I EAS can I transition to the guard for a one year contract to see if it’s right for me? And if so, would I have to do the infantry parts of OSUT still?
