Jump to 1:00 if you want to skip the giggles from my failed original intro :P just wanted to keep it in cuz I thought it was funny and a good reminder to not take yourself so seriously!
I'm glad you left the clip of you laughing! I enjoyed giggling with you and it made me feel like I was hanging out with you in a coffee shop or something ☺️
Love the giggles! Any video of your writing is just beyond satisfying. Great input on your beginner view of fountain pens. It’s important to know all levels of fountain pens as it’s a scary investment. Can’t wait for tomorrows video! Happy Randidotplanmas 🤣
I'm new to fountain pens as well, purchased my first one back in 2021 and it was the Pilot Kakuno. I have to say, I thought it would be life changing as well! I started with cartridges because the whole changing the inks with converters and whatnot was really intimidating. However, I kept with it and now I own way too many! I actually just purchased a TWSBI Diamond 580 in EF a few weeks ago and even though I think it writes more like a F to me, I still really love it. It's comfortable to hold and very smooth. I honestly can't say that I have a favorite pen yet, though I do use the De Atramentis document ink because it allows me to highlight. I mostly use my Pilot VP in EF for my daily planning, but for journaling I'm constantly switching up my fountain pens. I love this video, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I love the giggles at the beginning, thank you so much for leaving that in! :D
Can’t wait until my parents can pick up the TWSBI ECO Clear from the post delivery service that they bought for me. I was originally going to get it for Christmas, but it’d been out of stock every time they tried to order - but it’s on its way! 🤩 I’m also going to get one in the EF nib. And - your hand lettering is gorgeous!
@@swimmstagal I just got mine & Ive tried it out for a little bit & I love it thus far!!! 🤩 Might need to get some more to be able to have more pens inked up at the same time 🙈😅
I hopped around a lot trying to find a reliable black ink that was permanent and archival and I held strong on Noodlers various options for a while but once I checked out De Atramentis I was blown away. I use the Archive Ink every day. The TWSBI eco (like most TWSBI) remains one of my favorite pens. Love how it just never dries up thanks to that screw on double sleeved cap. Plus it looks pretty cool
Jesus. You print, like you're typing in some style of font. You have to be one of the BEST printers in the world. I've obviously seen artistic handwriting / cursive, but not such perfection and uniformity in printing, which is preferable with printing. handwriting is more stylistic, so uniformity isn't necessary to make it excellent, but with printing, I think makes it more artistic/beautiful. I used to print neat, and fairly uniformly, all in caps, back in high school, and it looked good, but NOTHING like what you can do.

TWSBIs nib size in EF is one of my favorites, they always write smoothly, and don’t feel scratchy!

I’ve got a TWSBI ECO too, and it’s easily my favourite pen! I have it in a fine nib, lilac loaded with Noodler’s Black Swan in Australian Roses
