@Kimberly Monique I'll buy that. That explains why it's so hard for all of them to let go of stuff. They all tend to hold on to things that the others do. They don't know how to work through their problems. They can't forgive. To be honest, Toni still handy forgiven her family for not allowing her to do the best with her career.

Yesss!!! I cried like a baby when I heard the news she had passed. It really tore me up because I’ve followed this family for years and Traci was so relatable and real. She was like the big sister, cousin of aunt you want around you all the time. I honestly hate it bad! She was so dope and Rose above it all. Fly high Lady T!

Traci and Trina are what’s right about the Braxton family. Validation, accountability, acceptance, empathy, respect! That’s what a healthy relationship is. We don’t get it right all the time but when we do screw up we own it! We communicate and come to the table better!!! Good people

Tracy had my HEART! Even after 25 years, even after they said she couldn't sing, that woman would walk out in front of a crowd of 10,000 people and sing her heart out. Now she's singing with the angels. She is a true example on how to never give up on your dream RIP Sis

Trina was the only sister that always treated Traci the best! I just wished Trina would have stood up for Traci more when the other sisters were being shady towards Traci! I'm still in disbelief and hurt about Traci.

I didn't understand fully why Traci was so hurt by being excluded from the Braxton sisters career (other than the obvious reasons- money, fame etc.). This conversation explains it. She wasn't even the one pregnant first yet she was left out. Trina admitting that they shouldn't have signed without her and apologizing was a beautiful gift to Traci. In light of Traci's recent death its awesome to know that Trina loved her enough to own her part and acknowledge her sisters pain and regret. This is what maturity and real love look like!

Her literal dreams were crushed and it was like her voice was silenced. On a spiritual level, I see how someone not being able to properly be heard, sing, or be taken seriously while communicating can cause throat cancer
Trina finally admitted the truth. Remember originally she said Traci was the one pregnant when they signed, yet admitted that she was. Then Traci got pregnant after signing the contract... They wanted her to get an A or leave the group, she chose her baby. Yet they accepted Trina and let her have her child and stay in the group.
They did Traci so wrong. Hopefully they made their peace before she passed.

The others followed Toni's lead. I'll never forget when they were with Dr Sherry one time and the doctor asked each sister to write down one thing that would make the relationship better between the sisters if the other sister made that change. Do you remember what Toni wrote down? She told Traci that their relationship would be better if she lost weight. Traci went all the way off too!

My siblings did the same to me. I'm so happy I now live in another state from them and I hope I never see them again. Our mom is in a nursing home with really bad dementia and I took a 23 and me test and my dad isn't my real dad which explains alot about why I was treated like a nobody from them.

This is one of many reasons that I love Trina, she apologized for a situation that she couldn’t foresee. Her sister was affected by something in their past, that was devastating. Even though it might not have fixed the problem, it gave her the validation needed.
That was Beautiful that Trina had enough compassion for Traci to Apologize, I truly admire when a person do honorable gestures.
I'm so happy she was able to hear this before she passed.

I was always left out by my siblings too. And I took a 23 and me test and it turns out that my dad isn't my real dad. I texted my sister so relieved I'm not fully related to them.

but look at Traci now she got a second opportunity, her son is now a grown man, he has his own family, and when the sisters went on strike she saw her second chance and took it and left them behind ,and because of that they got mad at her and they were not speaking to her ,only trina understood why she didn't strike with them. but they now know how if feels.
Jeannie Smith I agree. I was just confused about the whole situation. They had an opportunity in 1995 and the four of them went on without Traci...and Traci is upset about that. But when the roles are reversed, and it’s Traci that stayed and continued to film, and the other 4 left, they were angry with her. She missed her opportunity before, so why is it a problem now that she’s seizing her opportunity. Traci expected them to stay together in 1995(didn’t happen) and now they expect her to follow them? They have an odd sense of what loyalty means.

Many do not understand that when the Braxton sisters went on tour they hardly called Traci. She was dead to her sisters because she was unable to work with them due to her pregnancy. A good family, will still call you and remember you.

And she had to watch them... no they didn't become superstars -- however, they got the opportunity of a lifetime, which was to do what they always dreamed about. She didn't get that chance then, so I can understand her being hurt... AND why she doesn't want her child to miss out on his dreams because of a baby. Babies change your life.

Looking back, this was a beautiful moment. Trina was sympathetic and not combative. This is how you listen and communicate when someone is sharing how they feel/felt. RIP Traci❤🙏🏾🫶🏾

This will always be my favorite scene from the show & is why Trina was always my favorite Braxton sister. She took accountability and made sure to show her sister love. You could tell she was sincere and that is what always made her so likeable. I loved Trina and Traci’s relationship, you could tell Traci truly appreciated her sister and vice-versa. RIP to Traci! 🙏🏾
Trina is my favorite for similar reasons. Flawed, but to me she seems to have the most empathy amongst the girls. Tamar has 0. Toni tries but has this "I'm the oldest, I know best" attitude at times, Towanda is extremely manipulative with her words when she tries almost as if she's trying to invalidate your experience

Then nastiness that I saw in her for something that has occurred more than 20 years ago which really didn't occur she got pregnant the people in Hollywood wooden except her pregnancy was and her sisters and they moved on what's the big deal? This was all I needed to see! I am crying so hard! To know that Trina apologized means EVERYTHING! It's like Traci got to be a star, on her own accord, AND she got to HEAR her sister that LITERALLY "got to" be pregnant, when she didn't, months apart...when Traci is older.....HAD TO HURT HARD.
To see her life have so many fruits, especially once FINALLY given a chance......the grandbaby, seeing her son happy, staying with Kevin the WHOLE TIME, the Last Call hit, engagements, etc....I am in awe of her journey, and the rewards she EARNED.
