I have purchased the Enermax D.F.12 850W PSU, thank you
Thank you for releasing the subtitles for Brazilian translation Thank you.
From now on ALL of our En vids will have subtitles!
Great review and thumbs up for the subs!!!
great review and many thanks for the subtitles/CC!
seems like we had many enermax and XPG PSU coming hot on your review tests lately, very exciting!
Great, thank you !!!
600w on the 12V-2x6 cable is not overkill for an 850w unit. I have a 7800X3D + RTX 4090 setup with a 666w power limit on the GPU, all powered by an 850w PSU that still has power to spare. The entire system, sans GPU, draws maybe 100w in heavy gaming loads. Had this PSU been around when I was building my system, I likely would have purchased it...the shorter length would free up enough room for a second 3.5" drive in the front of my ASUS AP201 without crowding the front panel cables.
yes but not all users use an 7800X3D. Some may get a 14900K and try to power it along with an RTX 4090 using a 850W PSU. Also the PSU is most efficient at 40-50% of its max capacity.
@@HardwareBustersI'd still prefer to have the option to use any card the PSU could potentially power, with the included cables. It's not the PSU manufacturer's/rebrander's place to presume how I'll be allocating power, if that allocation is within spec of the unit.
I will be buying the white version soon to go in my TT cte 700 snow because it's the only psu in my budget range that has fully white cables all the others have white sleaving and then black connectors totally ruining it.
cooling solution vs noise on small form factor is an interesting topic.
my questions are,
1. is this PSU (enermax revolution d.f.12 850w) good for an itx build with medium to high end specs ?
2. does the computer case helps dampen the noise level of the fans on pc ? since this PSU had a nerve wracking noise level on high loads.
great review as always, maybe a little improvement on thumbnails and editing will help to get new viewers.
cheers
1) yes
2) yes depending on the case
Compatible for itx case
Thank you for a great review! I see the Silverstone SG16 as a perfect use case for the short size, because it allows you to use a tower cooler instead of a 120mm AIO. However, I am not sure if 850W is needed in such a small case.
Can you please treat if Vampire Power is higher during daytime/nighttime? Also, try to put it in front of a mirror and see if vampire power disappears
😂😂😂😂😂

02:20 : this patent(DFR) seems like a great idea at first ,but on a second thought ,what happens if🤔 you forget the switch at “reverse operation” ?
if you are doing something energy-intensive , I guess that your PC will shut down due to OTP-triggering , but what if you are doing something “lighter” (web browsing) which causes temperatures just below the OTP-threshold ?
imagine what this scenario can do to the PSU’s longevity ,operating at super-high temperatures all the time ,but only just bellow the OTP-triggering limit !!!😱
it is a push switch :) As I remember it doesn't stay on permanently
Honestly I wouldnt mind bigger PSUs for a cheaper price and if it is quiter (cooler)
me too!
A great review. Why would Seasonic buy from any OEM PSU manufacturer? I'd like to know which Seasonic series are not manufactured by Seasonic.
Subtitles!!!!!🎉
