Zwitch Guitars 0006 | Strat / Les Paul mashup!

For this commissioned guitar build, we started with a simple question: "Instead of a Les Paul Goldtop, what if @mikeness117 (from ‪@socialdistortion‬ ) was playing a Strat?"
Ultimately, the build went in a slightly different direction as a mash-up of the best features of a Les Paul and a Strat, to make a P-90-equipped guitar that sounds great clean and distorted.

DOOD!!!!!!! that is amazing!!. So many features I don't like about a real LP have been removed in this model and the changes and enhancements you did made it stand out. I am shocked to hear that weighs more than my Mockingbird and Thick Lzzy that both weight 9.4 lbs. I love that tone of gold on the top of that one too. Well done mate. Certainly worthy to be super proud of on that one sir.

Thanks, I’m definitely super proud of the build and that it’s going to a friend. He and I spent weeks in CAD back and forth, and I do think the addition of the curves really does fix things as you say.
When I weighed it, I couldn’t believe it was 10+! But I guess solid Sapele isn’t the lightest choice.
