ended up watching a load of these with my old man on fathers day yesterday. reminiscing on how underrated hleb was and how we coulda won the league with a better keeper than almunia in between the sticks. souster you are the don! big love!

I don’t think almunia was the worst this season, arguably his best season for us but the seasons after became awful.
Just wasn’t clinical enough in front of goal in the games we drew this season so many results you could look at and argue how we didn’t get it over the line lost the title by 4 points in the end. The eduardo injury gave half this squad PTSD.
Though we were trophyless dat season but we played grt football
The more I watch these the more I remember how pissed off I was as a kid k owing we should've won the league. Grew up seeing Arsenal win the league (once), playing beautiful football, passionate loyal fans, and players that respected and represented the club well.
You're gonna win the league this year no question, you're the best in the league right now and this is your best team for years (from a Chelsea fan who admits you've become much better than us this season)

I have discovered that watching these passed games is a stress reliever rather than watching all the current depressing events
I was there, games like that is why we love football and when the winner went in the away end nearly blew the roof off of that tin pot ground. COYG

Felt bad for fabregas this season. Should've won this campaign.
If Arsenal had won the title that season this match would've been the one they would look back on as key to the story as for Bolton well blowing a 2-0 lead the way they did against 10 men was most definitely relegation form but after being walloped 4-0 by Villa the following week they did turn it around with a 5 game unbeaten run 3 of them being wins which was enough for survival
The most enjoyable win of the season for me
me too, might be the best comeback of all time. Imagine if we went on to win the league after this too
