1. Pop-in. 2. More level themes (Cyberspace and Open-Zone). 3. More dungeons (they had the best feeling of platforming challenges and sense of adventure like SA1). 4. Slightly harder difficulty. 5. Bigger skill-tree (and some challenges can only be done by getting and mastering certain skills).
SPOILERS: I liked most of the story. But the ending? Nah, the whole corruption sonic thing was basically forgotten in one 3 minute cutscene, and the 'true final boss' which you'd expect from a sonic game to be an epic final showdown was... fucking GALAGA - a minigame they used a couple times in the preceeding level. I was so disappointed. The titan boss fight before that was so easy i was sitting there waiting for something new or exciting, but it never came. If I was playing on normal, I would have fought just another titan and seen a cutscene of sonic and his friends and that would have been it. And somehow what we got with the true ending cutscene was just as anticlimactic.
The writin was honestly horrible. Ian Flynns' english dialogue is absolutely horrendous as usual & the overall story rips itself off endlessly jus so it can heavily backtrack characters to Adv 1 days (not countin references). nobody acts like themselves & either there R no explanations for certain things or the ones we're given R horrendous & confusin. We really need only jp writers again. the western ones suck & we need a story that doesn't unnecessarily push us back 20 odd years & ruin 30 odd year old characters as an "apology". Frontiers prob has the "worst" story in the series (aside from maybe lost world) & it makes me worried for the future in that department
very underrated, good video 👍🏻
Thank you

I agree with these points
