Tip for cayo pierco. Always bring snacks and full armor. If you get caught after escaping the compound just swim in a straight line as far away possible and keep healing and equipping armor.
A fun trick I learned the other day, select any of those 3 optional set ups you want to do (weapons, armor, or air support) set your spawn point to your Kosatka then start the mission you want of those 3, press start, join a new invite only session. There you go, mission is complete for doing absolutely nothing and it’s free. Best of luck.
The mission does get completed and in the hiest console screen there is a tick mark against the mission, but there isn't any actual effect in the main heist. Means you won't get the result of the setup mission. The guards will still wear armour, they will still carry rifles and there would still be continuous chopper spawns.

It’s really really easy as long as you understand what you are doing. Right approach, headshots only, and making shot you are not shooting them near other guards or cameras. On my page I have a playlist, guide to Cayo Perico. I show what preps I do and the heist itself. I prefer going solo, so my approach vehicle is usually longfin. Unless there are two paintings in the office, which is rare, I go to somewhere where I can get two coke to fill up my bag then will go to the compound, in the same boat, to the drainage tunnel. Just don’t get spotted and you will be fine. Good luck :)

Ever since they nerfed Cayo to shit and guards take notice over next to nothing, I began doing the extras, so in the event I am cought, it isn't a chore to get out safely

Even then air support is even less worth it considering it is the hardest to complete With armor just go on bike with the smol grenade launcher and spam explosives against the arms dealer for the guns same for the armor shipments except is easier cause there isnt a dude that eats 5 railgun shots and lives

I have cayo perico heist and I do the replay glitch on pink diamond and I do the heist solo always and make 1.5 mil with elite I average 9 mins and some seconds since I have to leave the compound and loot the other stashes of weed and cash it’s annoying but it gets my bags full and I can say that armor doesn’t matter just headshot them and you will be fine I’m pretty sure the whole community knows this already tho
Just start them and then go into another invite only lobby, I found this by accident because I started a disruption mission by mistake and there is no way to cancel them except by finding a new lobby but when I loaded in it said mission complete not sure if this works with every disruption mission or if it was just a one time bug
Even when you do the preps they still be kinda hard to knock down but sometimes it’s worth it when you run the heist with others and their mad they got 15% so they set the alarm off by running your heist hella sloppy soon as you start
as someone who use sparrow for prepping cayo perico (solo grinding), i could recommend going for armor disruption. doing helicopter disruption require you to get good rng where the helicopters spot are located near one another, same goes for weapon disruption it is possible to destroy majority of helicopters but you have to use cruise missile from kosatka > fast travel near next spot > repeat. try using sparrow if the helis are located between tall building since cruise missile could have hard time as for weapon disruption, try cruise missile too, but its going to take several tries for guiding it and killing the targets, since target that have minigun could take out our cruise missile. then, try using sparrow to finish them
These are the easiest to do and even tho it doesn’t do much it’s useful you just start a disruption mission and join a new session and it count as complete
It's good if you want to do it with teamates (friends or randoms) but you have doubts they won't get caught, if you're inexperienced or you just want a full loud heist. In the other hand, don't bother if it feels unecessary
Guys you can do disruption skip by enter a disruption mission then change session If you do that, it will skip the prep so in my opinion its hella worth for me lol

You don't need to even the optional preps, just get the aggressor loadout with suppressor and your pretty much good, you can even kill the jug with 3 shots with the shotgun

Disruptions barely take any time to do and aid you in every way outside the compound, the meta should not have adopted avoiding them especially if you are trying every entry and exit method
The gun option wouldn’t really matter if they actually fired their guns normally. Most of the time they kill you in half of a second shooting their full mag or they take 5 seconds with a full mag
There was a bug where you could instantly do the disrupt missions. You started the mission and changed session. I don't know if it still works. Just putting it out there in case anyone needs it.
I do the bare minimum. Like everyone who speed runs it for under 15 min, full loot bags, undetected and solo. Was intimidating at first but now I've done like 5 of them.
I’ve never done the disruptions, and I’ve done this heist many times. They’re a waste of time for me, but it depends on your play style. If you wanna fuck up just one kill, you’ll have to use your body armor and snacks for the 2-3 minutes you’re swimming to the sub.
Basically the same as Duggan Shipment preps from Diamond Casino Heist = Disruptions Cayo Perico Heist get rid of Weapons, Armor and air support. Diamond casino Heist get rid of armor, shotgun and carbine rifles.

The disruption ones are useless. There are so many guards, and going through the roadblock is a bottleneck either way, and along the roads it's basically a constant ambush with no cover. Just do full stealth, you don't lose money from being shot, you don't have the risk of being killed, it's actually easier and (in my experience) it's faster. The only reason to do loud approach or disruption missions is solely if you want to do the Loud Approach just of the sake of having done it both ways
The only disrupt misson i do, is the one to destroy the buzzards, and i only do it on hard mode, bc weither way im going to do it stealth, i just dont want heli's after me when i get discovered

Well all though I go stealth I do them because I don’t want them to have good weapons during the heist. Another reason is that I can’t stand the choppers as the air support enemies. Now I understand doing these are a waste of time especially going stealth but I always do them. I actually am gonna try and see if I can do it without doing the disruption setups the next time the cayo perico heist is ready for me just to see if it truly is worth it or not in my eyes.

Once you're familiar, don't, because it gets easier with familiarity.
You know what else is a Big Headache? Doing Cayo Perico while your Caught. Everyone just Wipes if the alarm is raised in the compound

These optional disruptions are kind of hard to do without the Sparrow since Rockstar only gives you 10 minutes to complete them.

Just set kosatka as return point, start the mission the find a new lobby, the mission will complete without doing nothing

After I got all the money a guard found a body and I said “fuck it” and just ran to the ocean and swam for a while and it was successful.
