I love your guides. Clear, easy and a constant quality. Also, as a German, you're very good to understand.
Latency penalty is vicious on this raid. No wonder week two has a 10+ min queue for healers.
When she does the fold cannon thing, it's literally impossible for me to just sidestep it, I need to actively run to the other side (and probably die anyway if her canons are faster than me)
I swear the "x-fold" blasts is one of the most dogshit mechanics I've seen in a decade of playing, the timing for it is actually ridiculous, and I've cleared every savage, ultimate, and EX to date lmao.
i think they definitely need to clean the timing up, or lengthen it. i died to it everytime but one on my first few runs because any sort of latency on your end or pause in movement is basically a death sentence. everything else is great, but x-fold blasts just feel kinda sloppy as far as playing around it goes.
Yeah I have no idea what's going on with this. I'm an advanced player and the mechanic is incredibly simple. Sometimes I get by it perfectly, other times I die. It's got some wierd timing that's really sensitive to lag/ping/packet loss...something.
So glad to come here and see that I wasn't the only one getting randomly tagged by mechanics I didn't think I was standing in.
The laser in the soft enrage actually targets the floor, so it doesn’t seem like you can angle it away.

So the blasts are exactly like I thought then. That makes it more frustrating because now I don't understand why I constantly die to them even though I am well out of the area of effect.
Latency, probably. I'm on the same boat and either pop all defensives and pray the healer keeps me up, or just accept my fate and become a floor tank.

I keep trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong for the -fold attacks. I get hit even if I’ve moved and I’ve tried moving in early, waiting a little bit and then moving, just eating one and praying…. I don’t get it.
I'm having the exact same problem :/ Wonder if its latency related or what...
Same, at first I thought maybe I was doing it wrong and the circle/square icons meant something, or maybe because of so much visual effects I was still inside the aoe and couldn't see it... but nope, only I (and occasionally someone else) would get hit even if we did the mechanic right.
Soft enrage! Nice!
I hope they don't follow up with a hard enrage afterwards, in Savage
Soft enrages gives better skill expression to healers in resource management.

The hardest part about this is trying to keep your party members alive when they get hit as a healer because of the bleed lol
Especially the four fold one, like I'm sorry but if you get hit there, use any self healing/shields you have because I cannot multitask or I risk dying myself (and it has happened)
/bgm 100 is the most important part of this fight
