@dotandkey.skincare water resistant sunscreen quick stats:
☀️Protection:
SPF 50, PA+++
Broad spectrum
🌤️Filters: Hybrid. Couldn’t find the complete filter list.
The website says that it’s oxybenzone free.
☁️Texture: Milky
Fragrance and essential oils: None
👀Finish: Shiny. Somewhat oily.
👏White cast: None
🙌🏻120 minutes water+sweat resistant.
🙌🏻Other Ingredients: Ceramides, probiotics, hyaluronic acid.
I’ll just start by saying that it’s amazing to see an Indian brand come up with a water resistant sunscreen with a milky (and not mousse-y) texture It actually feels very similar (not a dupe by a mile) to some of the cult K or J beauty sunscreens like @rohto_official Skin Aqua Moisture Essence or even the @shiseido Ansessa Sunscreen 🏃♂️
How it fared for me: It took about a minute to fully blend out which was fine- I could spare that amount of time for wearing spf 🙈 Loved the finish under my makeup and it also didn’t pill on reapplying. But it does pill on dry patches😓. I checked the water resistance claim by washing my face twice and it did find some of the milky product coming off- not fully.
Yet to test this out in actual sweat conditions. ✨
For the efforts, this is an appreciable product 👏 For the finish and water resistance, I think it still needs some improvisations. And I’d also like the brand to share the help me with the complete filters 🙌🏻
Would you buy this? Lmk in the comments 🌤️

This much quantity is not necessary... influencers are actually not using the right amount ..a very senior dermatologist and many more have cleared that only one finger of the product is enough to cover your face up
And the more they rub it the less effective it becomes.
Really? But I've heard you must use 2 or three finger rule
It depends on kind of sunscreen. For this type of sunscreen that amount she's using is normal amount.
Hey! Where can I find these studies of 1 finger rule?
I totally disagree. My derm recommends 2-3 fingers for your face and neck! Besides, the 3 finger rule is JUST AN INDICATIVE amount to help people. TLDR: Use enough amounts to cover your face, neck, ears and forehead!
Can you please review the conscious chemist new sundrink (yellow one) too
Yes i've been meaning to buy that but i still have 6 new sunscreens to review :)
@@indianskinbloghey! Can you please review Rayback sunscreen also.

Where can I find the complete review of this one? Couldn't find it on Insta also
This is the complete review - sorry havent done anything longer than this. Its a good product but makes my oily skin feel sticky. Better suited for dry skin imho.
Hey i have a very dry and dehydrated skin and I’ve used the dr sheths one. The Aqualogica watermelon one and a lot of more but my skin is still so flaky so which sunscreen should I use??
Try plum's niacinamide sunscreen
@@hazeljoseph247 I have tried that one also I didn’t bought that one, I got it for free
Firstly apply a hydrating moisturiser underneath and then apply the sunscreen
If they could only skip the ingredient benzophenone 3, then it would have been a lot better.
plz just dont believe rumours no research proves that this ingredient causes cancer or converts into "benzene"
Ikr!
Hey pls give us a honest review of dot and key's sunscreen stick plsss....
Will do this month!
is it for oily skin??
Can you please review pink foundry new sunscreen
I haven't tried anything from them although I did get some products In pr before. Is the spf good? Somehow not very intrigued with the brand.
I have an extremely sweaty oily skin... most of the sunscreens are heavy for my skin, derma co gel is fine for me, i want to find.. otherthan derma co... will work for oily acne prone skin... water based.. light weight recommendations please
you can try any of the aqualpgica ones! The glow one is quite nice and doesnt make you sweat. Else you can go for a sweat resistant spf too like reequil blue.
hi...i am a 16 year old teenager with normal to oily skin...i get tanned very easily in the sun and getting rid of it is a nightmare for me...plz suggest me some effective yet affordable sunscreens which would help remove my tan and prevent my skin from further tan..due to school it is impossible to avoid the sun..thank you
She has a video pinned on her instagram related to tanning
@@user-yc8ep5hx1y Thank you, thats correct :)
Helloooo- firstly, you're only 16 so dont worry too much about getting a tan. It will automatically reduce as your skin exfoliates itself. Secondly, pls apply and reapply a broad spectrum sunscreen regularly. I'll be sharing a detailed reel on tanning and pigmentation soon here!
thanks a lot♥️@indianskinblog
@@indianskinblog😅

Oily acene prone skin keliye thik hai mujhe pimple nekal aate hai maine Mamaeart ka sunscreen lagaya tha
Aapko kisi ingredient se allergy ho saki hai, yeh fir aap silicone wala sunscreen chi try kar sakte ho jaise reequil ultra matte ya dr Sheths centella niacinamide one! They don't get sweated out.
@@indianskinblog thank❤🌹
I have dry skin....any sunscreen not suit for me...i used the dermaco sunscreen/ aqualogica aqua glow sunscreen/ Dr Sheth sunscreen....I get rash and itching...can i use it??
Use a good face wash like simple or Cetaphil and also aloevera gel and a good moisturizer
Kindly suggest between dot and key's Barrier repair sunscreen and watermelon cooling sunscreen for summer.
Dot and key's barrier repair that they launched this year is BOMB- id opt for it anyday
Hi im in my teens.... And after applying sunscreen my skin turns dark... Can you suggest me any sunscreen
Same problem 😢
You should definitely opt for a lightweight sunscreen or a silicone based sunscreen! Also make sure you're not using too many layers under it!
@@indianskinblog can you suggest sunscreen of any brand.. I have used Neutrogena. Lakme but I didnt find them of my type. They turn my skin dark.
@@flawlexxxoxo8727 Check out the dot and key barrier repair sunscreen! Its very lightweight and nice.
Mam kya oily skin ke liye use kar skte hai??
NAHI! This is an old review. + this spf is quite greasy.
Is it good for dry skin.....l was using dot and key yellow suncreen but it makes my skin looks darker
Yes it's very effective for dry skin I am using this. And genuinely I love it😅❤
This sunscreen is not discontinued by the brand and another one has been launched in its place. Get their new blue variant- barrier repair. Check my yesterday's full review of it. Its a gorgeous sunscreen!
Hello is this good .mujhe apka review chiye isko use krne ke baad ? Plss tell me i have dry skin ..
Nooo this is not THAT great- it was an average sunscreen because of being very greasy. BUT they've reformulated it so i strongly suggest getting that one! It got launched i think last month only.
Yaar ye white shirt kaha se lii aapne ?
Yeh Mango ki hai 3 years old
Plz try dot and key cica calming sunscreen plz di
I love their old cica sunscreen ! havent used the new one
Have u tried dot and key acne defense clay mask
Hello, i havent:)
@@indianskinblogok dear ..any spot correct or for mild acne not for severe
I like the one from acne squad, do check@@rahisha5732
Mera skin summer main oily and sweaty or winter main dry plz koi sunscreen batao plz
For sunscreens, use the UV doux sunscreen, it is silicone based and won't make you sweaty in the summers. It has spf 50 so it gives great sun protection. For dryness in the winter, just use a good moisturizer.
I have a whole playlist on sunscreens for oily skin definitely go through the same!
Can you please tell me a moisturizer and a sunscreen . I tried many moisturizer but no one work my skin is combination type sensitive and I am 15 yrs old
try cetaphil
@@fangirl_kim I tried this but it cause a burning sensation on my skin
@@KratiGupta-yj5dm aap doctor ko consult kro maybe wo koi sensitive skin ke liye bata de maybe
Id recommend himalaya face wash, or sebamed face wash and cerave moisturiser! For sunscreen you can try dr sheths.
It is good for acne prone skin ??
This has been reformulated- pls check my latest view on the blue sunscreen from this brand
Please suggest me some acne fighting moisturizer for oily skib
You can definitely get the dr sheths ceramide moisturiser for daily use!
@@indianskinblog Can I use ponds moisturizer before use sunscreem..?
How many hours long last? Please repley
this product got reformulated lately. The new one is decent but still quite sticky. Stays under sweat for at least an hour.
is this greasy and oily ??
VERY. And its now been discontinued.
Does it peel?
No it didn't pill. This sunscreen is not available anymore- it's been reformulated. This video is from Sep 2023!
Does dot and key blueberry sunscreen works ?
Against a tan? Yes its pretty decent with sun protection
is it for oily skins???
No its kinda greasy so avoid it
@@indianskinblogok tq
Are u supposed to massage the sunscreen so thoroughly? Pls educate .
I dont think anyone teaches you how to 'massage a sunscreen'. Its such a subjective thing after all. In a country where the concept of skincare itself is so new, leave alone sun protection, the best thing is people are atleast learnign the concept of spfs via such videos!! Hence there's no correct or incorrect technique of massaging a product as long as you're following the 3 finger/ 1 shot glass rule of application and of course not massaging anything aggressively into your skin.
@@indianskinblogthey might be referring to newest short from lab muffin beauty where she highlights how rubbing/blending aggressively your sunscreen into your skin is a bad idea as research suggest how it takes away almost 25% of the sunscreen efficacy.
Didi price bata do na plzz😢
Yaad nahi google it pls
It gives me breakout on the first day of use🥲
Subjective and so sad :(
