Remembering being 12 years old in 1984 and also having missed our grade school Dance night. I have NO one to take me to the party. NO Boy took an interest in me nor a nice young male friend to take me to the Dance. I never took it to heart that All my friends at school were at the Dance while I'm in my room reading the night away. Though at the back of my mind I hope a prince charming would take me there, sweep me off my feet & stuff. My Mom took me to see this movie days later. I was smitten & very thankful to my parents. Decades later I met my real life prince charming 💖 Now married for nearly 18 years with 2 kids (& anticipating my first grandchild💐) Joy & happiness to you all Kings & Queens Hearts💗👑
Even though this movie was "fluff" and way too raunchy for all the 12 year olds that saw it (myself incuded!) It's amazing how the romantic moral still sticks with us who considered ourselves outsiders and were terrified of the thought of going to a Dance! Congrats on the grandkids and I hope you still believe in magic 😊😊😊
I was in elementary when I first watched this movie in TV. This was when I loved the song King and Queen of Hearts and would associate this song to this scene in this movie.
Great song. There were alot of great teen movies in the 80s. Zapped, Last American Virgin, The Outsiders, Secret Admirer, Adventures in babysitting, Mischief, The heavenly kid, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's day off, The Karate Kid, Back to the Future, Valley girl, Just one of the guys, My bodyguard, License to drive.
When you are in love and looking at each others eyes, it was gleaming. Although it was one of the most important event in the memory, I cannot recall the song if it is king and queen of hearts or got to believe in magic. That person in that moment when you're in love becomes the song. Wherever you are. I still love you.
This song and "Got to Believe in Magic" were both huge hits in the Phillipines where David Pomeranz became a big star. The songs were written by Charles Fox (Grammy winner for "Killing Me Softly") and Stephen Geyer.
Zapped! [1982] Starring: Scott Baio, Felice Schachter, Willie Aimes, Heather Thomas Song: "King and Queen of Hearts" A song i dedicate to my late boyfriend, Louie Jose. Rest In Peace....I will never forget you.
This song is one of my favorites! The melody sounds really magical which is why I made my own piano cover of this song on my channel. I also placed lyrics so it can serve as an accompaniment for those who'd like to sing with it! I wish more songs like this would still be composed even nowadays.
Carrie in the end male version "Zapped 1982 miss this romantic teen comedy miss the 80's i wish there is a time machine right now revive the beautiful 80's (:
Amen! I was a young teenage girl back in the 80's, (born in 1968), and if time travel was possible, I'd go back to the 80's in a heartbeat. It wasn't a perfect decade (What decade was?) but it was much better than the 2020's. I hate the 21st century!
At 1:28, the blond guy at the lower left corner of the screen and at 1:46 dancing with his date as Scott Baio entered the gym. He is the one with the red Rolling Stones bikini briefs. He is wearing a suit and tie here but when he got pantsed later on he is wearing a tuxedo.
I loved Heather's pink dress then, and I love it now. With all the "bad" 80's fashion we can see here, it's interesting to see that a strapless ballgown never really goes out of style, especially on someone with an ideal body like hers.
Lovely Felice Schachter missed her own senior prom so she can shoot the prom scene in Zapped. The prom scene was shot over the course of 2 nights in May of 1981.
I first saw this movie when I was 7 or 8 years old. I was innocent back then and I thought the nudes scenes was funny. Still remember my dad playing it on the old vcr.

I find 3:20 so endearing in how Bernadette holds Barney tight, eyes closed. Speaks to first love emotions. Loved this movie since it came out when I was 10. Fav song from the movie...
i watchd the movie Zapped in '82. i was only 8 years old then. now that im 47 still listen to the original tone of it might be you.
Same here. I'm 47 years of age and this never gets old!
Oh my gosh, why do we have to get old....
my thoughts exactly...
I'm stuck in a timewarp - 80s!! Wish i could stay in this decade forever.
Pro tip: you can watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies recently.

Had a huge crush on Bernadette while everyone else wanted blondie lol
Great song. Love the 80s, my childhood, the best times/music
I could see the sexy qualities of Bernadette too. Wholesome sexy always beats out smug conceded sexy any day.

Family values were still alive and the evil internet hadn't been created yet.
Felice Schachter is a great actress. I wish she would have continued to act.
The 80s great era to live in thanks for sharing this
missed my chance in 1985, played this song over and over almost a hundred times
I was 18 when this gem of a movie came out!! NO shame!! RIP Robert Mandan. Love this song hit too!!
Robert Mandan is still alive.

Bring Back The 80's
Best song to slow dance. I miss slow dancing so much. It's the only dance you can hold girl in your arms all night
Carrie in the end male version "Zapped 1982 miss this romantic teen comedy miss the 80's i wish there is a time machine right now revive the beautiful 80's (:
Always loved Scott Baio.

I love the not-so-hidden "Could it be Magic" riff in this song. So appropriate to the movie!

Whats the title of the movie
Zapped starring Scott Baio, way back in 1982.
that sucks is everyone dead from 1982
No, I don't think so: I'm pretty sure that Scott Baio is allive
Scott was so cute, cocky now
she tried but he kept messing up...
GRABE NAKAKAKILIG ????????????
The amount of sexual assault at the end of this film is astounding.
