A bit sad I finished going through all of his footage as a baby but glad I finally was able to finally edit it all. I hope you all enjoy and have a safe happy holidays. As always, thank you for all your support and for following my journey to becoming a physician with Misu 😊

    Just stumbled upon your channel, Misu is the man! I have a studio apartment but my complex is VERY dog friendly - we have free dog wash station, apartment owned dog park, dog groomer salon in my apartment complex, free dog treats next to the coffee in the lobby.... the list goes on. I've only had one dog prior - but this dog was truly the love of my life, the most loyal and loving Golden Retriever ever....who never left my side and didn't even need a leash to stay right next to me 24/7. I have finally grieved long enough - coming up on 5 years since my dog passed on - that I am finally thinking about moving on with a mini bernedoodle, but do you think a small apartment (with lots of park space, car rides and fun adventures daily will work?) and I am very much seeking loyalty to *just* me (I will be training him as a therapy dog for myself, I am disabled although I want a secure/non agressive dog toward all strangers) sooo, do you think I will have success with a dog like Misu? Thanks for any advice you can give me here. I've yet to meet anyone in real life with a mini bernedoodle, although my parents have 2 female Goldendoodle sisters who will enjoy terrorizing him, i mean making a new friend with him, 😂 You sure scored a cutie with him! ❤ I have always said I would stick with Golden Retrievers but I came down with my disabilities when my old big guy Golden was about 7 years old.... quite a lot of hair to deal with and he drooled like crazy but he was lazy as they come. The short lifespan (he only made it a month into his 11th year) was no fun either so the smaller size does sound appealing though I hate a barking dog. Thoughts appreciated.

    Hi Julie. Thanks for sharing the video. I’m going to be a mini brenedoodle puppy mother soon. I’m so excited. May I ask have your puppy changed color coat when he grown ? I see he was a black color when he was a puppy. But looks like grey color as he is now.

    • @JulietChung
      @JulietChung  Год назад

      Hi, no problem! Thanks for watching! Yes, his coat has changed. He was jet black with a lot more brown but now he is dark grey with more crème coloring and small areas of brown on his chest and undersides. I hope that helps!

    Love your videos! I’m getting a mini bernedoodle soon and these videos have been a good resource.
    I was wondering if you know anything about coat fading? I’m not too concerned about some fade and I love the breed for their temperament obviously. Just would be a little sad if my pup was to completely fade. Happy new year!

      Thank you so much for your kind words and support! So I know the fading gene is from the poodle side and Misu is 75% poodle and 25% Bernese. As you can see in my videos, Misu was more jet black when he was younger and had a lot more brown in his legs. Now with his adult coat his jet black is more of a grey black and a lot of the brown on this legs faded to cream and/or light grey. But he still does have a decent amount of brown on his undersides and side chest! I also think his coat is still beautiful (I might be bias haha)

    Do you have any training tips for ur mini Bernedoodle you used? We just got one!

      Potty training especially

    • @JulietChung
      @JulietChung  Год назад

      Hey! I would say in terms of potty training go outside every 30mins -1 hr in the beginning to give them the opportunity to relieve themselves. Stay consistent and you can slowly increase the time between the potty breaks. Also, try your best to figure out the signs in which they give that they need to go. It’s usually subtle signs only the owners can pick up on in a couple of days! I would also recommend taking them out after they play and 20-40mins after you see them drink a lot of water. Consistency is key and they are really smart puppers so they will catch on quick. In terms of other tips, I have some other videos you can check out! But I used every opportunity to train them including mealtime and playtime. I used a clicker word “yes” instead of using an actual clicker to mark a correct behavior and/or trick.
