Just saw them in Ireland Co.Clare today. Definitely getting one now. Was sceptical at first, but your video did it justice. Amazing what you can find on RUclips! Thanks!

I picked one of these up last month for just £19.99 (down from £39.99).
I must say I’m quite impressed with it. It’s an extremely efficient in terms of how little charcoal it uses.
The only downside is that it takes an awful lot of cleaning (grill/bowl/charcoal canister/fuel plate).

thanks for the video, it was well recorded and I hope to get same success when I use mine.
I like the fact you used that Wood fire starter, i much rather that than Liquid ones. will definitelly try.
You used Briquetes and not lump wood charcoal (i think they recommend the second), but all reviews with lump burned the outside, so you probably mastered it with Briquete.
Mine came with Fan not working, I swapped (no hassle at the shop) and now looking forward to use it... can't wait.

Bringing mine back, as soon as it heats up, fan refuses to work.
EDIT: returned it to my local store, it was replaced straight away, as usual top class service from Aldi! And... exact same problem. Except, roughly half the time the fan refused to work even cold. Complete deal breaker, this item is useless without the fan. Returned it, won't be going for third one. The concept is brilliant, if it worked, and I will be looking for some manufacturer to come up with a working model. But this one, apart from the fan, has issues. The drip tray is too shallow, allowing an overflow of oil, grease, to penetrate to the base, probably destroying the fan anyway, and impossible to clean. Its claimed as portable, but the cleaning issues would make it a nightmare in the boot of your car/camper. It has no lid, just a pretty useless bag. It needs a hinged lid and proper grab handles. Great concept but very flawed.

That’s a shame. We’ve had no problem with ours.

The best and original is the Lotus Grill, heavy duty strips down for easy cleaning and lots of accessories, 4 sizes and starts from about a £99 I have been using it for about 3 years with our camper, fantastic bit of kit..
