She existed before the song, sung by the voice talents of Miku Hatsune, "Black Rock Shooter". Therefore she wasn't just a "character from a vocaloid song", she was "the inspiration for the song".
I am thinking that after you've finished the game, I. B★RS will appear along w/ the 4 OVA characters (of course, the one who will replace B★RS in the quartet will be I. B★RS..) in an extra stage in the Palace of the Moon... Well.. Just my intuition..

Took them this long to release actual gameplay. As i suspected, the gameplay turns out looking really bad. Pretty much explains why they have to include a figure and other freebies to sell this.
You people shouldn't criticize it unless you actually play the game. So what if it isn't what you suspected? We're not sure if these game play's are prototypes or something . Go play the game first when it comes out and then criticize it! So selfish, geeez...(This message is only meant for those who are talking bad about it).
