How sad is it that there is companies like IMO to take all the burden and stress of the claim providers, and the employers have all the needed support they could require to guide them through the processes of the claim and the rehabilitation, but the injured worker, who is already under so much stress and strain trying to work through the maze of The Act 2003 and the regulations which attach to them as well as the financial fears and unstable sensations they are feeling during this time and all while living in a body that isn't doing what it was and isn't feeling how it was all because you got up and went to work in the morning , and suffered an injury.
    Such a horrible situation

Pieter de Groot comes off as a firm believer that malingering and feigning injury is a major problem that the workers' compensation system encounters. Unfortunately, the research does not support this view. In fact, the impact that this disproportionately biased point of reference has on decision-making within workers' compensation boards is very negative indeed. Research supports that a substantial amount of claimants experience adversarial relations with their respective claim adjudicators, who often overtly support this malingerer narrative. The point is that viewing injured workers in this way subsequently leads to poorer recovery outcomes--something that negatively impacts both parties. Dr. Tim Anderson seems to have a better perspective on the contemporary issues that injured workers are facing. In my opinion, it is forward thinkers like Dr. Anderson that should be at the head of these organizations.

In Vicoria, if RTW is within the first 13 weeks you get 95% of your pre injury average weekly payment minus what you are currently earning at work.
If it's between 14 to 130 weeks, you get 80% of your pre injury average weekly earnings minus 80% of what you currently earn at work. Subjected to dropping off of OT and shift allowance after 52 weeks
