It's because everything the orchestra plays,is composed by themselves. About three weeks ago,we were blown apart by their latest performances in Greece.
Symphonic Movie Black Metal at its Best !!!The whole Concert is a Masterpiece !!!Besides ROTTING CHRIST definatly the BEST from Greece. This Mexico Concert with full Orchestra and Adult & Children Choir is absolutely Mindblowing!Their Outfit is definatly inspired by DUNE FREME Dresses......BLACK METAL with Ochestra often works Live for example at DIMMU BORGIR and SATYRICON !!!!
As I think someone else mentions I would highly recommend checking out Seth’s artwork, (as Seth Siro Anton), he is a *master*, I have two of his pieces tattooed on me, and I’m planning more…..he does the art for Septicflesh but also lots of other bands…..
Bless you guys! Well, I have plenty of catching up to do. Tight times and what not. But do I see the name of my favorite band in your title :) What I love about SF is the progress they made, in which they were true to every second of music they created. Each album has a different sound/atmosphere/take/etc'. But it is to be mentioned, that the first 6 albums were more gothic death metal with synths. Then in 2008, the release of Communion marked a new era, as Christos finished his composing studies (his brother Seth learned fine arts - all the band's art is his creation). From there on, Christos wrote the symphonies for live orchestra. Which is a big advantage for SF, since they write/design everything on their own. And so, they record each album with a full orchestra. 9:18 Oh yes, Seth's vocals are beastly. I might say that his art and his voice are a reflection. This show was truly a long time overdue and could happen thanks to truly great management. Codex Omega was a massive release and did help in bring the beautiful name of SF to more homes. It wasn't easy financially/logistically... But the impossible happened :) Yet some Greek instruments were still missed :) And now Sotiris, (the bald guy :), who is the guitarist/lyrics writer/clean vocals, said recently that more live orchestra shows are planned. Probably in Mexico again, due to costs. In regular shows, they of course have to play the recording the symphony and choirs. When it comes to live shows, Seth has his own way of engaging the crowd :) The idea is that you come for an experience, whereas you could otherwise just listen to the album again at home. But some fans do complain that the " 1 2 3!" and "are you ready my friends!" are a bit much... I personally love it :) Overall, Septicflesh are one of the most talented bands that I love. They always manage to have this "light in the dark" feel. My favorite album would always be Sumerian Daemons: Virtues of the Beast is the first song I got to listen to, and it is dear to me. And the album had the perfect bland between old SF, and the coming of a new era in their sound. Although Codex Omega should probably be considered their magnum opus: Portrait of a Headless man, Martyr, Dark Art, Faceless Queen, Enemy of Truth, The Gospels of Fear... all is one album. But this score of classics can be made from all their albums.
@@AfterDarknessiFeel I know! His Majesty Christos Antonio is orchestra arranger and probably do the score. Víctor Smolski Almanac and ex Rage is another master....
Hi, great reaction. You can tell by the name but never by the album's Intro with these bands. You mentioned that this is an orchestra ft a metal band but Septicflesh is a metal band you need to experience because of the orchestra element. There is a metal band called Rage that invited an orchestra for one of their albums and then the orchestra invited Rage to an album of theirs. If you want to check it: RAGE - Empty Hollow (OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO) by Nuclear Blast LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA feat. RAGE -- Cleansed by Fire (Official Video Clip) by Nuclear Blast

Hierophant, Anubis, Dogma of Prometheus from these guys are all excellent songs. Anubis and Dogma of Prometheus are also available from this concert
Anúbis is my favorite song
you both have to watch the whole dvd of this show, it is a trip and if you like his voice, later on he goes nuts with it..
I liked septicflesh back in the 90s, but after they got back together in mid-2000s every album is perfection.
The whole album is just amazingly epic. I recommend🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Metal+ orchestra. That it has been my goal for the last 3 years. I bought over 100 cds of metal/rock bands with a symphony orchestra!
Septic Flesh write all the parts of orchestra. I dont think there are many bands doing the same .
