To get Leftovers in FRLG, you need to get the Item Finder and use it on the spot Snorlax was blocking. The Item Finder will go wild and you'll did up the Leftovers. You actually need the Item Finder to get it, and I think that's the only instance where is required in any game.

Very Nice Mr. MysticUmbreon Sir!! I enjoyed this pretty cool video and do agree with you about Shock Wave over another thunderbolt as the amount of money/time spent wouldn't be 💯 worth it. Excellent Work on the explanations!!
I think Mystic forgot that Venomoth is Bug/Poison, making it weak to: Fire, Flying, Rock, and Psychic Meaning that aside from Zapdos, he can use Snorlax (Fire blast if you’d take the risk) or Alakazam (be careful) to deal with it.
You should do a series where you do play throughs using your rivals team only. Going through each gen would be awesome basing it off of the starter chosen.
Ik im late but GUIDE FOR EASILY CATCHING ABRA: 1. Get a great ball In Route 4, after leaving Mt. Moon, there is a pair of martial artists on a ledge, between mt. moon and that ledge (to its left) there is a hidden great ball, search for it by spamming A in every tile. 2. Once you are in Route 24, you need to put first in your party a pokémon that can inflict sleep status (or paralysis but sleep is much better), in this case since its a bulbasaur team just use it. 3. Search for an abra, it has 12% so he is rare but not that much. Now when you find one you want to put him to sleep so he doesnt escape, hit him to lower his HP and then use the great ball. If he escapes dw and search for another one. Note: I actually never hit the abra, in all my playthroughs I just put him to sleep and throw the great ball and it has always worked
Something I’m sure people have noticed is that Starters evolve at specific levels. 14, 16, 17, and 18 for middle stages, and 30, 32, 34, 35, and 36 for final stages. Maybe top five weird starter evolution levels? Like 18 and 30 for Feraligatr compared to 14 and 36 for Typlosion and Infernape.
Well, color me impressed. You picked a solid team here. I hope you may do something like this again for other games. If you do, I have two suggestions for the Gen. 2 Johto games (Gold, Silver, Crystal). First, if/when you pick Alakazam, I recommend the move set to be Psychic and the three Elemental Punches (maybe replace one with Thief?). After all, they’re all considered Special in this generation, and Shadow Ball is physical. Speaking of Shadow Ball, Nidoking is actually a great Pokémon to use it. He has better physical attack than special, and the move covers his Psychic weakness. Just saying. Also, since you never used Umbreon in your previous lists, I hope you might change your mind here. It can learn Psychic as a TM move, to cover its Fighting weakness. Bite or Faint Attack for STAB, Toxic because it’s bulky enough to successfully stall, and either Curse, Moonlight or Rest. Granted, Umbreon only gets the best stuff in Kanto, which is why I suspect you haven’t used it yet. Same for Snorlax (a classic Curse-lax build with Shadow Ball and/or Earthquake could be fun.)
Fun fact: you can have 4 leftovers when you have a pokemon use Thief on the sleeping snorlax while fighting it then using the itemfinder right where it was laying down so all in all 4 leftovers
I actually ran that exact Lapras set back before Freeze Dry came out in Gen 6 I switched things around and made mine know Surf, Blizzard, Psychic and Freeze Dry
For anyone wanting more of/easier access to the Game Corner TMs you can make life easier by getting more money from battles via the Amulet Coin from the aid on the second floor of the building on Route 16. You'll need to have complete data on 40 species but leveling up the early bugs, birds and the Nidos as well as any others needing stones make it fairly doable around the time you have access to it.
Fun facts: by abusing various glitches in Red and Blue you can get -A level 100 Gengar or Nidoking before Brock (I’d go with Gengar, he’s immune to a lot of moves and you can get Nidoking early) -A level 100 Mew or Nidoqueen before Misty (pick Mew, it’s much better) -A Mewtwo by Cinnabar by using old man glitch with a specific name -A Missingno who could be over level 100 (and depending on your name could be a skeleton of a fossil Pokémon or a ghost) -Missingno also allows for the item duplication glitch so you can clone master balls and make the legendary birds a joke to catch Thanks to most of these glitches my team by the time of the Pokémon league was A level 100 Gengar A level 100 Mew A level 51 Articuno A level 51 Zapdos A level 50 Moltres A level 47 Nidoking (the only one I caught completely legitimately, and even then I pumped him full of duplicated rare candies). The Mew was able to solo Blue’s whole team.
Nobody ever brings up that part of Bulbasaur being the best starter is that it learns sleep powder and how big of a move that is outside of battle... It literally makes catching Abra and many other important Pokemon so much easier!
The best part about Zapdos is that it doesnt have a single attacking electric move when you first find it, so if you catch a Rhyhorn in the Safari Zone you can easily wall it while you try to catch it, I caught mine before beating most gym leaders sience you can just skip them and go straight for Koga, wich is very easy
I like how he said snorlax comes with a chesto berry and it tauros manure and all that, but all you need to do is get the itemfinder and use it on the spot snorlax was sleeping... (The itemfinder is accessible before snorlax btw, you just gotta catch a certain amount of pokemon to get it...)

Either way I thank you for your hard work on these videos (even when I don’t always agree with some of the choices)
The best Kanto team with no restrictions is clearly: Dragonite, Lapras, Gengar, Alakazam, Machamp, and Golem. Fighting, Ground, Ice, and Rock are the top four types a team needs for coverage. Flying, Psychic, Ghost, and Dragon are the only other four types needed for coverage in Kanto. Dragonite, the gift Lapras, and the Trade Evolutions are broken individually, but together are even more insanely broken due to giving the team STAB coverage for all eight types needed to completely sweep Kanto.
TL;DR
Venusaur (Pallet Town) - Giga Drain (Celadon Gym, TM19) | Leech Seed (LVL. 6) | Sleep Powder (LVL. 15) | Earthquake (Viridian Gym, TM26)
Alakazam (Nugget Bridge) - Psychic (LVL. 36) | Calm Mind (LVL. 33) | Thief (Mt. Moon, TM46) | Double Team (Kanto Safari Zone, TM32)

Dugtrio (Diglett Cave) - Earthquake (LVL. 51) | Rock Slide (Rock Tunnel, Move Tutor) | Aerial Ace (Route 9, TM40) | Toxic (Fuchsia Gym, TM06)
Lapras (Silph Co.)- Surf (Kanto Safari Zone, HM03) | Ice Beam (LVL. 31) | Psychic (Saffron City, TM29) | Shock Wave (Vermilion Gym, TM34) / Thunderbolt (Kanto Game Corner, TM24)
Snorlax (Kanto Route 12/Kanto Route 16) - Strength (Fuchsia City, HM04) | Shadow Ball (Kanto Game Corner, TM30) | Brick Break (S.S. Anne / Celadon Department Store, TM31) | Fire Blast (Cinnabar Gym, TM38)

if you have the itemfinder and use it after battling snorlax the leftovers are under it, thats why they gave it the chesto berry
Fun facts: by abusing various glitches in Red and Blue you can get
-A level 100 Gengar or Nidoking before Brock (I’d go with Gengar, he’s immune to a lot of moves and you can get Nidoking early)
-A level 100 Mew or Nidoqueen before Misty (pick Mew, it’s much better)
-A Mewtwo by Cinnabar by using old man glitch with a specific name
-A Missingno who could be over level 100 (and depending on your name could be a skeleton of a fossil Pokémon or a ghost)
-Missingno also allows for the item duplication glitch so you can clone master balls and make the legendary birds a joke to catch

A level 100 Gengar
A level 100 Mew
A level 51 Articuno
