Hi. I recently watched a pretty decent mystery crime mini-series called The Jetty - shown on ITV in the UK in July this year. It stars Jenna Coleman, who starred before in the excellent series Victoria. This seems to be a routine police procedural but very quickly becomes something a lot more. Very interesting storylines and characters, good twists and turns as it plays out in present and past. Very satisfying and engaging - only 4 episodes and it's well paced. I recommend it.
I did subscribe but I thought better of it when I realized how America Centric this was. Most of the programs you recommend an apple or Hulu or peacock none of which are popular in Europe it would make more sense to review programs from a particular streamer so that we can ignore it if we don't use that streamer

Hi. I recently watched a pretty decent mystery crime mini-series called The Jetty - shown on ITV in the UK in July this year. It stars Jenna Coleman, who starred before in the excellent series Victoria. This seems to be a routine police procedural but very quickly becomes something a lot more. Very interesting storylines and characters, good twists and turns as it plays out in present and past. Very satisfying and engaging - only 4 episodes and it's well paced. I recommend it.

I did subscribe but I thought better of it when I realized how America Centric this was. Most of the programs you recommend an apple or Hulu or peacock none of which are popular in Europe it would make more sense to review programs from a particular streamer so that we can ignore it if we don't use that streamer

What is the matter about what nation the movie is about? It could be either good movie or a bad movie. Nationality has nothing to do with that. Just as there are good and bad people in every nation.
