    Nice way to get full use of your harvest, whole lot different than the little rectangle bales of my youth, lol! Thanx !

    Quite clever, when I was younger we were told not to go near the stuffer forks when swinging. So much has changed in farming except for one constant. It's still long hours and hard work. thanks for posting....

    I hope we keep getting more of the Fendt in North America.
    A very busy Baylor but it looks really good. I like how they narrow up the net wrap at the end of each Bale to help start the next bail with less chance of tearing

      Thats how it has to be done regarding film wrap. Been using filmwrap for 13years now and have had alot of conversations with the ones behind this whole widefilm / film on film / filmwrap change. And when its using net the arms wont go in and out like that cause its not needed and some times even caused the net to tear.

    we have a fusion 3 plus that can do film or net wrap , it does struggle with getting film on old grown hay type grass , it doesn't grab the wrap and take it round the bale so I wonder just how putting film on straw would work

    • @hughmarcus1
      @hughmarcus1 Год назад

      That’s interesting. A contractor who bales dry Haylage for me with a Fusion 3 didn’t mention any issues. Film wrap is great, single waste stream & if you normally double wrap with net, you no longer need to.

      @@hughmarcus1 we like the film on film its much easier to open when you come to feed it , cut abit to get your spike in one end , pick up and cut along the bottom and pull the hole lot off the top , and the type of grass I am talking about is 1st cut in mid july that had been down 5 days , rained on for two , more salvage than hayladge

      Vario / belt balers are better suited to deal with dry hay and straw regarding using filmwrap

    Does anyone know if the film unit on these newer balers could be retro fitted to the lely tornado balers

      @Tomlamb980 the net system on them new massey balers do look very similar to the older models but I haven't studied them up close to be fair..

    • @Tomlamb980
      @Tomlamb980  Год назад

      It is but the film wrap has 2 hydraulic arms to start it feeding if you watch towards the end of the video

      Yea I seen that in the video it's a good job and been able to load her up with 3 rolls of stuff and switch between them so easily is a tasty job well taught out to be fair
