I was an average student and always had an apathetic attitude towards math. But the way we started our math course, by practicing basic math, translating math questions, and doing the revision course, I think it was the most felicitous approach to building a strong base on math. This process has made me like, whenever and wherever I see a blank page and a math book, I start solving problems. It’s me who was running from math earlier, but now willing to go to my younger siblings and say, 'Let me solve your math problems. 😁
Math is fun now. I am enjoying the process. The way you started from basic to english math translation , english Math translation to math revision, is an extraordinary process to understand math. The problem i found before was that the question seemed very difficult to me. I don’t find any way to simplify the math. But at this moment, i know how to simplify math.
Vai started math from class 6, even we translated math questions, then we learned math terms, thus we completed basic. Then we started CAT and it feels like I have seen this type math before.Thus vai has made all the steps crystal clear to us.Thanks vai!
My basic was good enough since high school period. But I was afraid of IBA-related math all the time. I couldn't even understand many things well. Whenever I try to solve these types of math, I get frustrated. I almost gave up doing such math. Now, solving and reading CAT book give me pleasure which I wanted for so long. The approach of Mahmud bhaiya is awesome. I hope to be better day by day. Advanced math now seems to be so easy.
I have just finished the Profit, Loss and Discount chapter of the CAT book. It was quite easier than I thought. Basic math from class 6 to 10, which Mahmud vaia taught us earlier, helped me to calculate every single math problem. Understanding the question is the best part of this book. I am really enjoying solving the CAT book. Special thanks to vaia who helped us to do it in this way.
Math wasn't a strong zone from the very beginning of my IBA preparation journey. It's because of my lack of basic math skills, I think. However, the process of Vai's emphasis on making a strong math basic foundation first is a beneficent process. Now, practicing advanced math as Vai's instructions is ameliorating my math skills.
