The North Nodes are powerful in determining our destiny! Here's my family's North Nodes configuration. In our family of five we are all on the Scorpio/Taurus axis. My older son and daughter have their North Nodes in Taurus. My husband, youngest son and I have our North Nodes in Scorpio. My North Nodes is in the 4th house. While I'm college educated and pursued my career, it alluded me. But I wasn't so heartbroken because I had our adorable children that I could devote myself to. In the1980s and 1990s, it wasn't considered socially correct or admirable to be a stay at home mom, especially if you were college educated. But I loved being a full time mom. As my children grew up I tried to get my career going but only had nominal success. Family always remained front and center in my life. I experienced shaming for this and felt like my role as a mother and homemaker was a guilty pleasure. But try as I may, the career wouldn't take off. Understanding the effects of the North Nodes I feel vindicated. I am doing what I was born to do! I have other interests. I have gone back to school to study art and am improving my skill levels all of the time. I'm involved as a volunteer in several organizations. My oldest son has the opposite North Node placement to me. His North Node is in his 10th house of Taurus. His career is a tiger he has by the tail. I know having a family of his own is very important to him. He's young so we'll see how this goes for him.

Having multiple planets in the same sign as your South Node can make the challenge of following your life mission and getting out of your comfort zone harder than normal, however look at the other planetary placements and aspects in your natal chart as you most certainly have support from other parts within you (and the chart).

Having multiple planets in the same sign as your South Node can make the challenge of following your life mission and getting out of your comfort zone harder than normal, however look at the other planetary placements and aspects in your natal chart as you most certainly have support from other parts within you (and the chart).
