Anything 1/4th carat and higher should be looked at see if it's mossinate. There's alot of mossinates out there now and presidium can't tall difference between diamond and moissanite

you mentioned your scrap gold, or maybe silver, do you take it to an assayer or someplace else to sell, being from a gold rush town there are several in my area and it's really worth going through them than a jewelry shop or pawn shop as the further down the line you go from the assaying and refining company the less money goes in your pocket. not a lot of people think about it so i like to mention it, i know my first 3 years i ttook it to a jewelers and drove past 2 assay offices to get there lol

Just a note that 14k is not 100% pure. I believe it's only approximately 58% so in reality you don't have over 5 grams. Still, it's a great find!
Hello, I'm not sure what you are referring to. I didn't say I have 5 grams of pure gold. I said I have 5 grams of 14K Gold... if you take it to any jeweler or pawn shop you get paid by grams or ounces, so yes I received 5 Grams of 14K 😊
I had a few watches in a box and all said quartz but one had a diamond like stone like the one you should and instead of saying quartz it says diamond on the bottom. Cant find out a thing about it
