    Wow! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’ve been looking for a small but good travel headset for loud sales environments. I’ve tried literally every earbud, including the jabra evolve2 earbuds but obviously earbuds. While they are portable they are nowhere near as good as a boom mic. Thanks for the video! I just bought this from you guys.

    seriously considering this one. Case is still huge for someone who absolutely hates taking calls directly on my mobile. As such, my headset & case is nearly always in my pocket. Still searching for the smallest charging case that contains a mono headset having a boom mic with great noise cancellation.
    Suggestion: your noise cancellation demo: need to equalize the sound of your speaking voice when switching between devices. In this video, when you switch to the BH71, yeah, the background noise is lower, but so is your voice.

    • @HeadsetAdvisor
      @HeadsetAdvisor Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching, Shawn. In our microphone tests, we simply connect the headset to the computer and hit record and we never adjust the volumes, so out of the box this is what you can expect. That being said, you could adjust the microphone if you're connecting to the computer in your microphone sound settings to a level you'd prefer.

    Good review! I've watched several of your reviews of some similar one ear headsets. I will mainly be using it when walking - it's a good time to call your friends. What seems to be the problem with all of these products(also from other people's reviews) is the lack of sound in terms of hearing the person you're talking to. Regardless if it's this or jabra talk 65 etc. Of all the products with one ear is it one which stands out to you in terms of hearing quality? Thanks!!

    I'm so glad I saw this video before buying the Plantronics Savi S8245. It had so many mixed reviews and I just spent the past few days paranoid on which to get. I've decided on purchasing the Yealink BH71 Workstation Pro, but now need to figure out which VoIP Phone from Yealink would suit my needs. Given I want an easy to manage but up to date phone I can properly sort through and do & record video calls on. As well manage team chats, so the screen has to be big enough so that I can pair it to the headset device but also my desktop pc and/or laptop.

    Dave, do you know what the IPx water intrusion rating is? My Poly V5200 is great, but sweat kills it on my 12 mi. rides. The BlueParrott M300 XT is water resistant, but it has no "Pause" button for anything on audio playback, I checked with their (very responsive) tech support group.
    So I am looking for,
    (a.) water resistance (IPx4 or 5)
    (b.) and a pause/resume button for audiobooks, podcasts and such.

I was playing with the BlueParrott V300 XT and found that one long press on the multi-function button will PAUSE the audio and 2 short presses will RESUME the audio. I have the BH71 workstation and my main issue is that the ear tips piece is awful. Whatever material it is, it’s terrible. I tried all sizes and it just doesn’t properly close the ear canal so the sound leaks out. Also the ear piece doesn’t feel secure because of the rubber tip. They could easily fix this if they switched to a different material like foam or something better than what comes out of the box.
    Unfortunately there is no after market option so for me this headset just doesn’t work.

Plantronic Legend was at least better in quality but the charger was special for just legend! Jabra talk 65 is close to Poly, would say quality 10/10 but function was 7/8 of 10 only problem is like yealink is the volume 😂 it’s sooooooooooo low specially jabra talk 65…. I use now AirPods Pro, they are so much better than does Bluetooth but the sound quality for other line is ok but not like Poly or Jabra, does 2 is 10/10
