At my school, people used to call me out and make fun of me for watching Bluey and said that it’s a show for “babies”. So I went up to a student asking me why I watch this show and I said “I bet if you watch 3 to 4 episodes of Bluey, you will get addicted.” And in just 2 days, that student binged all three seasons of Bluey. A few weeks later, almost everyone in my school talks about Bluey. Most talk about how they love it, and some not. That’s how my school somewhat changed because of Bluey.
My 6 year old noticed the difference. She hates Peppa Pig and other shows and says that they look too “nothing” and that Bluey has more in it. She points at the background details. She has been doing this for 2 years at this point so some kids do notice.
As a new parent this show resonates with me so deeply. And even sets examples for how I want to raise my own kids. I'm actually convinced it's an adult show, not a kid show, with just enough kid elements to keep them engaged enough for the adults to finish watching it hahah.
I am a little kid like 10 years old and I like bluey. But when my mom watches bluey she cries every 12 episodes in S3 and she always tells me why she cried and I myself understand it. Joe Brumm is going out with it. He knew the kid series industry needed a change. And it's an obsession, it's education, and family.

I literally can't resist being emotional when the tree in camping grows with the music swelling (and I've seen it many many times), it's just a perfect scene. No show just for kids would even think of reaching that level of mastery Also, I don't like that you roasted the music in Dance Mode YOU MONSTER. I still enjoy dubstep. okay? But as you pointed out, I've never heard a soundtrack more Beautiful than in "Rain". That whole episode is an emotional roller coaster

In my opinion, Bluey is just proof that childrens cartoons don't have to be super watered-down and baby-ish. I think a lot of people underestimate how smart children are honestly. Bluey is still really popular with their target audience (and a little older) for a reason. They might not understand episodes like Onesies or Space that deal with things that are more complex, but they must still watch the show for reasons other than 'it has bright colours and loud noises' since there are other cartoons that do that job a LOT better
I will tell you why ALL AGES LIKE bluey (Ages 3-6):the main target (Ages 7-12):games in it are made for all children and its still entertaining and funny (Ages 13-18) teens miss thier childhood alot so watching a happy colorful kids show makes them feel like a kid (Ages 18+) everything mentioned in 7-17 and retatabillty (of the parents to them)

i believe its quite common for people to speak while doing sign language, i think usually it’s because some deaf people can read lips. but it also makes sense for the show as many people don’t know sign language

The Camping episode is so good it remains us about that friend from McDonald's that we make for one day and we never see them again. Thankfully Disney has edited a lot of the content and banned the inappropriate show Dad Baby, but a lot of those immature adults want it there because *they* think its funny. This show is for innocent toddlers and maybe 1rst graders. NOT immature adults that want toilet humor, cuss words and having a male character pretend to be pregnant and give birth in the backyard. Bluey needs to be put a stop to, IMO.
Well, some people just like what they like. Whether they're immature or not. Some people (myself included) like shows like this with classical music and charming characters, while some like complex stories and writing.
Good afternoon, I want to immediately warn you that I am using a translator. I'm a girl and I'm almost 19 years old, I absolutely love this show. Bluey stuck in my heart. Although I can’t stand animated series for children, and the main reason is how they treat them. They don’t give a damn when creating an animated series, because children eat it anyway. I completely agree with you. But I also wanted to add: the characters have very real personalities and each character feels alive. Not all adult and teen shows have such well-developed characters. I don't know how else to explain... I am also amazed (in a good way) by the courage of the creators in showing such moments.

What really makes this show for me is just how much it makes you *think*. There are plenty of episodes that, instead of just shoving a simple message down your throat (although admittedly there are some episodes that do that as well, like Queens), present their themes in a way that's intentionally ambiguous so that the audience could attach their own experiences to them and, like I said, actually think deeply about the topic that's being shown (e.g., Born Yesterday, Barky Boats, Slide). I mean, heck, there are even a few episodes that you basically have to watch twice in order to simply understand them, like Flat Pack or Space... what other so-called "preschool show" can you say THAT about?
