Silage on Alan's Farm with the Farmer and the FarmFLiX dream team! With 60 acres of first cut grass to harvest... what could possibly go wrong??? Willis & Jonnie get introduced to the Clyde Tractor fleet all freshly prepared for a heavy shift at the silage and later John McClean rolls in with his John Deere 7810 and Redrock trailer to assist. Alan has the unlucky task of keeping the grass cleared from the 2205 in the toughest way possible on the silo... using a Merlo on slick tyres with a broken diff and a chancy fuel lift pump. John can't help himself from using some Long Draw Kings tactics for entertainment when they're on the short haul just to add some fun to proceedings. It's not long before he's getting it tight as the silage team gets the cobwebs blown out of the harvester. More to come in Part 2 here: • MAYHEM AT CLYDE'S GRAS... - Развлечения
Great to see some smaller kits lads, ye should do more on small contractors and farmers like Alan that have their own gear!!
Yeah for sure, they need to step forward with a few invites for us though!!!
Best FarmFLiX video I’ve seen for a while. You should do more like this
Favourite bit?
I agree
Class!!
The string parts
Ye
Best silage video I’ve ever seen by far
Cheers Conor, favourite bit?
The banter or is it craic?
@@rightthen.3243 craic
I love the way Alan said that Johns 7810 Deere was a ball of scrap
He's a closet green fan
The sound of that john deere puts a smile on my face 🚜💨
Can't tell if you're being smart Massey Man so we'll take it as you're a closet Deere man!!!
fair play to alan to have all that machienery and keep it running, nice to see stuff running that is paid for lol
Gets the job done!
Favourite bit was Alan’s face everytime when the red rock landed in full to the gills🤣
She was taking a heavier load filled by the 2205 bouncing around the field for 10 minutes than any of the new harvesters John sat beside just because it kept sinking!!
Sum craic was had that day by the looks of it, top quality content as usual
There was yeah Bill, what was your favourite bit?
FarmFLiX probably the messing goin on between ye and the older smaller farmer owned tractors drawing in was something different
It’s good outfit for farmer fair play your getting grass into trailers and into a pit 🤷♂️ job done 👏👏
That's it after all Raymond
The lad who is giving about the full arm reach there’s an automatic button on the side panel and there’s two buttons beside the seat for going up gears
But can we gurantee the side buttons are working on alans tractor lol
That roar of a 6 pot is music to my ears 🙏🏻🚜💨
Nice wee whistle when the camera was on the front weight block too :)
@@farmflix that was great. I love the whistle off a turbo 🤘🏻
Grate video, can't bate the old school way of lifting grass.
Cheers Michael
Best video so far, no shiny new metal and nobody taking themselves too seriously. A few laughs. Love the comments about the electric pole.
Cheers Trevor, would love to interview a pole fitter sometime to understand the logic behind it!!
Looking at the comments so far, might be the way to go. Keepin it real.
FarmFLiX Shared it to Facebook going to tag a NIE linesman.😂
Great video. Nice to see older kit.
Always good to see it in work instead of static!
Would love to see more videos like this
Favourite bit?
Seeing the 7810 in action
Great video who’s needs state of the kit if what can afford gets the job done 👍
She's shifting along nicely for a £4k rig
This is gold lads. Poor Alan getting an awful time 😂
Old is gold Michael
Nice to see the kit
Always good to see stuff moving
The tyres are slicks for a smoother ride! All this grass would put you in the mood for silage, about half of this video was just everyone bulling alan🤣
Ye have to keep yourself entertained on the short haul lol
@@farmflix and no better way to do it!
That 2205 is in good Nick, licking that grass well....
Any bids for her? I'm sure Alan could be persuaded to let her go
Love the 7810, hoping to do some videos with our 8 series when it drys up 👍
Sweet
can’t bate the small tractors for a change
Pity no 50 series Deere's in Alan's fleet lol
Lol
Loving the "racing slicks".
Good on you Alan for putting the graft in on the gear. I'm same, buy the scrap stuff and get em back running. I reckon this is the best vid you boys have done, nice seeing you all rally round for a day 👍👍
Cheers Casto, bad job if we couldn't give Alan a turn
Aye it would be, would have been a weight off his shoulders I bet
Best video by far for long time!! The 2205 looks to be chopping it good..... Super day of sun.... Think we'd all go and help Alan cart silage just for the fun, but someone needs to get him at least 2 new tyres for the merlo.... Thanks guys for the great entertainment 😎😎😁😁
Cheers Stephanie
Best video this year without a doubt, Keep them coming!
Cheers Jack - favourite bit?
@@farmflix The general criac between youse, Jonny hitting the taildoor open and Alan trying to take Johns load with the merlo.
Chains on the slicks like the ice road truckers would get another year out of them! Great vid lads! Some craic!
Will have to sugguest that to him!! She'd be hard on the concrete floor tho :P
@@farmflix 😂 good luck lads! Keep em comin'
Like the setup
Which bit? The super slicks on the Merlo lol
Yep
Best video I’ve seen in a long time. Well done fellas 👌👌. Question for Willis, the TSA has buttons close to you for gears as far as I know so you don’t have to stretch out your arm 🤨😅
Mustn't be easy to find that button, Willis is a New Holland man after all!
That was brilliant, really enjoyed that! look forward to part 2!!
Coming soon!
Top notch video lads the craic was the bit
Cheers Alan
Looked a great craic day out 😂👍
It was!
Savage video some crack love to see 7810 on pit
John would like that too we think.... need to find a big buckrake first tho :P
Hang in there folks, less than 3 months till the grass now.
Put you in the mood alright!
Class days craic! Miss the wee grass days
Hard to beat a 60 acre day for the craic
Savage video, that harvester is going well
Mighty
7810 dream tractor
He’s some man for the routing
First class!
Brilliant video lads.... Best one yet!
Cheers Boss
Brilliant video!! very nice fleet!
Cheers
Best farm RUclipsrs about keep er lit lads
Cheers
Np lad keep er lit John and Alan
Great show no need for fancy fleet hi that gear doing every bit as good
It is, while it's moving Alan!
Alan, the blue tractors never missed a beat, power, comfort and reliability maybe some day John will see the error of his ways and buy a proper tractor 😁
Hard to miss a beat pulling a wheel barrow lol
Now now, those trailers are bigger than they look, the raw power was there.
Great video John. I'll tell ya what I'm seeing here, I'm seeing a man who has worked hard for what he has and he's gettin the job done, and in great spirits! Not one of these "model" farmers with all the latest gear who just happen to be located on the outskirts of a town or beside a recently completed motorway!!........ If ya know what I'm sayin!!
He's some man for one man!
Wouldn't be like yous boys to give Alan's fleet some stick would it? Great video again, can't get enough of the mighty TSAs.
Ye couldn't love a TSA even if ye were reared in one :P
Don't worry about the tyres as they roll down better the clamp grass . We got 16500hrs on our first set of tyres on our matbro , now clocked 21700hrs(5200hrs) on second set
yes yes
TSA’s for life....😍😍
Really? lol
FarmFLiX 100%...whistles and po’s...what more do u need?😂
Best vid yet great logic with you boys !
Cheers Iain
Happens to the best of us Alan place reminds of ours 🤪🤪🤪
Only difference is we don’t have the heap of scrap of new Holland’s we have the real yokes John Dere the 7810 John will put the the old blue yokes to shame
True dat!
The two lads are a good laugh 😂 . Great vid 🤙
Cheers
Best video yet lads, top crack 🤙
Cheers Nick, got a favourite bit?
The best of the best silage video out bro hats of to ye lads
Thanks Gold Fire
Class video love ta see more like this, alan id nearly come up and valet those tractors id say theyd farly clean up
I'm sure he'd let you valet the merlow too :P
@@farmflix it wouldnt take much tyre shine ta go round the wheels anyway 😂
Top Gear have the Toyota Hi lux they couldn't kill , FARMFLIX will have Alan's Merlo.
Top Gear had the Stig who we never saw his face and Farmflix has Paul who we didn't see at all but make that 2205 sing.
Great vid. There is something about old school you can't beat. You could sell tickets for a day out like that.👍🏽👍🏿
Not sure what we'll have to do to kill the merlo, maybe send her to some quarry work!
@@farmflixWatch out .There is probably United Nation legislation stopping that... Crimes against Merlos
Great video mate
This is my favourite video on d channel. Just class
Good man Paddy!
Yes lads are you going to newtownstewart the night for the Festival of Lights
That 2205 sticks a fair load into the redrock. Don't think john will be invited back for silage in Alan's anytime soon giving him awful hardship 😂
Think Alan is more worried John might sell the Redrock before silage season!!!
Spot On Guy's! Excellent video & great work!!
Cheers Archer, favourite bit?
@@farmflix cab shots & the banter!! The Old New Holland Was doing a fine job for her age👌
If only we get u down south east one time .to do a bit of fliming ..good vid bye the way
Just waitin on the invitation Jimmy ;)
Alan that yard is a credit to you clean tidy gates hanging somebody's been busy upgrade the merlo get rid of the combine & the grain you wouldn't know yourself
Now yer talkin'
Great video..Where's part two?
Coming next week
Would he sell that red clio in the nettles. Could do with it
Good video allan wasnt to impressed when john landed back to the yard everytime this new 7810 you bought she needs double beacons will she get them??
Maybe...
This is a great video, the most entertaining I’ve seen for a while. When are you boys starting the standup comedy tour?
Be a day or two John, we used all our best material in this one!
Never say anything about the cook
Best words of wisdom ever at the end of video 😀👍👍👍
Certainly not if you're planning to eat there again!
i wonder how John took the slaggin of his 7810 being a pile a scrap there Alan 🤣. Ts is mighty. keep er lit and fill the pit says i. 🚜✌
Runs like water off a duck, Alan doesn't mean it!
@@farmflix Alan enjoys the craik
this gets me exited for the next season boys
Us too!
Love it want to see more of it
Part 2 coming next week
No one knows hardship more then the king of the pit himself Mr.Clyde....and as for you John that’s fierce bad messing on you’re part putting pressure on him 😂😂😂 not sure what’s has more pressure tho...Alan trying to push out that load or the Merlo trying to lift it 🤷♂️
If ye get too many trailermen sitting waiting on loads they're gonna find a way to entertain themselves lol
Do you enjoy getting to drop the camera and get back on the tools?
Love it!
No school like old school some craic
Epic
Good video when’s the next part coming out
Soon :)
Top class video lads😉
Cheers Paul - favourite bit?
@@farmflix Like the smaller kit for a bit of a change😉 Also liked the put of the 7810
Bit of a change from nz for Willis
Yeah we're guessing the kiwis have never seen big heavy kit like the TSA lol
15:40 I've heard that on a DVD before
To be fair JMC don't know anything about this video, that was the truth right there!
if u need drivers i have 2 here ready for this year alan
Great video 🚜☘️🇮🇪
Cheers anthony
Some people still say the super slicks are still on the merlo to this day
That's a fact!!!
@@farmflix hahahahahah
Alan poor man …… ya kept the faith on the Merlo when all the others rode around yeez in style!!!!!
Get the loan of another TS for next year bud and i'll travel up and draw for ya and ya ca leave Mc Clean the messer and his fancy 7810 to push up !!!!!! Christ alive them slicks have made bits of your transmission too son!!!!!!!
Brilliant vid and Johnny's quote of "steady pace" and driving pure hits the nail on the head!!! Brilliant vid and hope the black eye is better in a few days after the sister see's this tonight lol!!!! MORE!!!!
Sound Maurice, if we got you a Ford 5000 to draw in could you work with it! lol
Hope that pipe is from Cherry Drainage Pipes

Serious video lads💪..ye give alan an awful time, makes great content😂
It does!!
You think that's bad? I seen us take two days to put in a first cut of 25 acres at the end of June with a tarrup dc on a ford 76 with a massey 185 and 590 with home made trailers that held 5 tonnes. We pushed in with an old jd digger. Pure torture but fierce craic lol.
Hardship :D
new tyres before this years harvest?
Would you go see salleys in westmeath?
Who?
@@farmflix ruclips.net/video/TEcD8jBOOEQ/видео.html
How many times does he have to say 'like'
like was that comment necessary Paul like?
what is with the pipes up the side of the pit....never seen this before?
to drain effluent into the tank quicker so it reduces pressure on the walls
What is the pipein for?
