After that rain everything looks crisp & refreshing. Would have been a great day for riding weather wise. Unfortunate for Charissa having two flats and ending her ride. Riding the Munda Biddi you have to be prepared for the unexpected and carry those spare parts. Can be luck of the draw as other riders have done the end to end without any mishaps. Following and enjoying your vids. Just purchased a GiantTalon one model with a 1x10 drivetrain . Other bike is a talon 2 with a 2x8 so will be interesting to see how they compare.
Thanks for your comment! The trail has been getting better and more fun from hereon in. I'll let you in on the insider info haha, Charissa got her bike fixed in collie, and continued on from there, couple of days ahead of us, cos she was on a tighter schedule, and rode all the way from Collie to Albany. The talons did great, no flats the whole trip, my overloaded bike held up like a dream. Just make sure you have big enough granny gear for heavily loaded climbs.
Whenever you see an Echidna….. be VERY, VERY quiet! They have quite poor vision but really acute hearing. They are not bothered by you moving (silently….. no cracking of sticks as you step). Yelling and talking will guarantee the Echidna just digs in deeper; if you stay real quiet for several minutes he will probably peek up his head and even go on with his wanderings.
Very nice, beautiful sceneries, awesome music, intetesting stories. ❤
Thank you very much!
I had a smile on my face the whole time. and I know why. it was interesting, nice and relaxed
Thank you :) life really is amazing on the bike. Cant wait to do europe :)
