Having read all of his works, and visited Cihangir mosque several times, in hopes of catching a glimpse of the writer in his balcony, I absolutely loved this. Thank you

A magnificant biography of Istanbul as well as of the author.
I can also recommend Grant Gee's documentary 'Innocence of Memories' (availble on DVD, which takes as its starting point Pamuk's novel 'The Museum of Innocence'

Has Mr. Orhan Pamuk anything to say about Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza and Lebanon with 50.000 dead, 125.000 wounded and 25.000 still beneath the rubble? No he hasn't!.. I wonder why?.. I mean, after all his country Türkiye has very strong historical ties with Palestine and Lebanon.

@@MirceaPaz Is there any other topic left in the world worth mentioning about?.. If a world famous novelist is silent on Gaza genocide, than how can he be taken seriously anymore?..
