Thing that made them click for me was over exaggerating the amount I brought my up toward my chest with knees wide apart as if you’re knee flying, particularly belly to back, then holding that position until I was in stable back fly. Back to belly was the same plus exaggerating the feeling of leading with my chest and leaving my head behind, if you get what I mean.
@@thedude669 I have a problem with keeping my head back for these transactions and sit flying. But I got my sign off and that's good enough for me. Haha
You probably get better tips from your coach, but I'd say, get some more upper body lift and some momentum upwards before pulling your knees in. Having some ascending movement makes it less scary and more wind pressure on your chest takes care of half of the transition.
